PentelArts Gel Roller for Fabric, (1.0mm) Bold Lines, Permanent, Black Ink, Pack of 2 (BN15BP2A)

I used this to make a quilt label and it was perfect. It's very smooth to write with and there's no bleeding of ink during use so you get a very clean detailed result. I set with an iron when I was finished and the labels been washed several temes now and still looks as good as new. Great product!!!

This pen writes on fabric even better than micron tip pens. I used it to write on a quilt that was already quilted. It wrote like I was writing on paper, very smooth and easy. The tip doesn’t get caught on fibers and is thick enough to read with the first pass.

After cleaning my canvas Vans sneakers, I wanted to refresh the black checker pattern that had faded during the wash. I ended up going with this 2 pack of pens after reading the reviews and wasn’t disappointed! The gel ink went on super smooth which made it really easy to be very precise with the lines. The ink itself was a little tacky after application, but once completely dried it felt fine. I’ve worn the shoes a couple times since touching up the pattern, (which only used up 75% of 1 pen), and so far it hasn’t smudged!I have yet to get caught in the rain, so I have no idea if these will bleed, but for now they’ve held up great. I may also use these pens to label my daughter’s daycare clothing and stuffed animals as the ink didn’t bleed through the other side of the fabric. Overall would definitely purchase again.

Good tool, just not the one I needed for this project. I liked that it didn't run on the silk and I will absolutely use it again.Bought this to add some detail to hand dyed silk florals, but the black was too intense and the line was a little wider than I wanted. Compared to Pigma Micron Pens the line is probably twice the width. If I bought it to do block lettering on a quilt, I would probably be saying the line was too thin and the color not intense enough. It's all about the application.The silk was machine washed, the little bit of marking I had done stayed in place without a problem. Too bad that Pentel has discontinued the colors that these pens came in before. If you see any, you might want to buy them.

In reading about people actually testing various brands of permanent markers and pens for fabric (thank you to every person who has done these tests and shared their results on the internet!!!), this pen was consistently rated as the longest-lasting ink on fabric. I used these pens for signing a quilt as a gift to someone else, so I cannot speak to the longevity of the ink, myself, but I can say that the pens wrote very smoothly on cotton fabric and laid down sufficient ink that even folks with a light hand left legible marks on the fabric. The width is pretty good for having clear lines without needing to go over a trace multiple times. I only wish they made a rainbow of colors that would be equally permanent and long-lasting!

A friend recommended these to me and they certainly live up to her recommendation. They write smoothly and easily right from the package. Like using a pen they write so well. Highly recommend.

I bought these to make permanent, washable labels to sew onto the back of my handmade quilts. Very easy to work with, show up well. They were recommended on multiple quilt making sites.

Straight forward fabric pen, thin enough for labelling daycare clothes. I’ve washed them a couple of times now and the ink doesn’t smudge at at all on satin labels. I waited the 48 hour period before washing as per the pens’ instructions and had no issues with ink run off.

En un principio estuve algo dudosa de comprarlo debido a la cantidad de productos para tela que al lavarse pierden la intensidad parcial o total.Al hacer la prueba quedé gratamente satisfecha.

Seit einigen Monaten habe ich einen Stift der gleichen Marke in rot um Stoffetiketten zu beschriften. Der Stift schmiert nicht, hat eine klare Schrift und hält doch sehr lange.Leider habe ich einen Nachfolger nur bei Amazon gefunden. Trotz langer Lieferzeit bin ich froh, endlich wieder solch einen Stift zu haben.
