SONY MDR-1AB Black High-Resolution Audio Headphones

These are awesome headphones, the sound is nothing less than amazing and they are also extremely comfortable to wear. I'd highly recommend.

Just what I was looking for.....

I love these headphones, the sound is amazing, the comfort-ability of the cushions are AMAZING and the overall build quality of the headphones is topnotch. However i can't in good conscious give these headphones a full 5 out of 5 because of one pretty MAJOR issue. The cables. They work just fine and in fact because of the way they are designed to only really work properly with this model of headphones makes it feel durable. However unfortunately for ME the cable containing the mic got wrecked in an accident recently and while that's not sony's fault, it IS their fault for not having a way to obtain a spare cable. The only way i can find to obtain a backup cable WITH mic is to either find someone who's selling it third party for some ludicrous amount, that being close to 50$ for just the cable. OR out right buy a new pair of headphones. None of their other wired headphones use this same exact cable and while i could hypothetically use another aux cable the fact that the one MADE for these headphones can't be repurchased for replacement is BEYOND frustrating especially when that cable is what i believe helps make the sound quality on these things so great.

Probably one of THE BEST headphones I have ever heard.
