Excellent quality
I bought two of these, and am impressed by the excellent quality of the product. Everything is well designed and manufactured. The housing threads are smooth and flawless. The housing itself and the manifold (top) are heavy and solid. The mounting bracket is very heavy gauge, and will never bend. The pressure gauge is large and oil-filled to prevent vibration and wear ... a real quality gauge. If you wonder about the partial fill of oil, be aware that that is normal. My only criticism was that one filter package was short a washer ... pretty minor. So I got a better quality filter, with more features, at a lower price than anywhere else I saw it.

A great filter cannister
Easy to Install. Threaded on 1 inch pvc fitting, attached 1 inch pipe. Done. No leaks. Hung from plywood with supplied bracket. Using a 5 micron filter on an extremely dirty well, with a pump pushing 5 thousand gallons per hour thru 1 inch pipe. Clean water. No leaks. Quality and value are great.

CONCETORES
Estoy conforme con el producto, sin embargo compre dos para colocarlos en serie y he tenido problemas en conseguir las conexiones adecuadas entre ellos. busque en la pagina del proveedor y no tiene los conectores

Input/ Output Connections SUCK!
This is not the first time that I’ve done plumbing as a DIY’er. When I solder a joint, it’s usually first time, every time. But the in/out & between NPT female threads connections are in need of a major redesign! My first attempt:Housing + 1”fpt to 3/4”fpt pvc reducer + 3/4”mpt copper. A 1” nylon nipple between housings. Plus multiple rapes of Teflon tape.Result: minor leaks at each housing joints. My second attempt:Added coupling’s so the filter assemblies were removable. Swapped the PVC & Copper fittings for brass. Kept the nylon nipple between the housings. I reduced the Teflon but added pipe sealent compound.Result: major fittings leaks!Advice: SEEK THE ADVICE OF A PROFESSIONAL PLUMBER before attempting to install these!
