Love butter beans...
Soak for eight hours, overnight and ready to go... Bit pricey, but then again, so is everything nowadays. Lucky I wasn't forced to buy organic..

Good beans, but not very fresh
Decent taste, but they feel like they've already had a rather long shelf life. Let them chill in water for 24hours with some baking soda, and they'll be just fine!

Surprisingly hard to find
Glad to see Morrissons sells these as they're a challenge to find in the grocery stores nowadays, online or in the analog shopping sphere. The dried beans we received worked well in our pressure cooker/hot pot. What we noticed is butter beans done from dried took on spices much better than the tinned variety.

Honestly canned are cheaper, easier and no chance of fibrous skins ruining your dish
