I have an iPhone X with a silicone case. Initially, it was a really tight fit, and it was hard to get the phone in and out of the case. But gradually the holster loosened up, and now it fits perfectly. The leather conformed to the phone.

Quality leather and good workmanship. However, too small for average cell phone. When on belt with cell phone in place, can not remove the cell phone without unbuckling belt, bound in. Mine just went in the garbage can.

It's not the heaviest grade leather I've come across (like leather for belts or boots), but it's better than the cheapo holsters I've been replacing every 6 months.I am hard on holsters, crawling around under stuff for work and hobbies.When trying to insert my phone (it's on my side where I can't see) often it goes behind the holster (not in) and has fallen on ground.Indeed it's difficult to shove phone in, as holster does bunch-up and could use a lateral stiffener on back.And there's alot of friction inserting phone in as leather is rough, but that same friction is all that keeps phone from falling out with no top-flap... so go figure.I did cut the top-outside edge of the leather down ~1/2 inch (sharp scissors), which does help alot to get phone in.Once it's on my belt and phone is in, it rides OK.We are still trying to be friends.

Once placed on belt,phone was hard to remove. If phone was needed quickly this could be a problem

PROSThis phone holder is basically 2 flat pieces of thin but semi firm leather, sewn together around each side and along the bottom perimeters, and around the 2 side belt slots It's pattern is designed to carry your phone at a canted angle to allow user to pull phone out at a slight angle rather than straight up and out, as stated this is just basically two pieces of leather sewn together, and has NOT been pre formed or molded to fit facing a particular direction there is no true "designated" outside of the phone holder, it is then basically universal for a left or right handed carry. That's a bonus as I see it.ConUnless your a completely round bodied person....The biggest issue I feel is that this phone holder is designed to have your belt thread in one side slot and out the opposite side slot in the same manner as some firearm holsters do that are carried at the kidney positions.So if carried on your side rather than at kidney position on your front or on the back side, it will be forced to curve around at your waist/hip and make removal or insertion of phone difficult, and it possibly could damage your FLAT non conforming phone as it and the holster are being forced by the 2 point attachment to follow the curvature around your hip.I don't find carrying up front or behind me comfortable when in a sitting position, especially in a vehicle, but I stand most of the day at work.

Too tight on the wast. Too tight for the phone. Can not use.

I gave this product to my husband who works in auto mechanic. It was difficult for him to use his phone, before havig this product, whenever he received a call. Now he is able to hang it on his belt with the phone securely resting im the pouch and the best part is that it is within arm's reach. This product has made receiving phone calls so easy for him. And the quality of the product surpassed my expectations.

Bought this for a gift for my husband for Christmas and it was perfect and he loved it! Then, 2 weeks later, it started rubbing off and leaving residue behind. It ruined his brand new jeans and a pair of his dress pants with black stuff all over where it sits on his side. This is not a well made product if it is doing this after 2 weeks. He has been unable to use it and now the return window has closed making it useless and a waste of money. Don't purchase and save yourself the trouble....and your pants!

It is durable I see, but it doesn't serve its purpose! As per my hubby, it doesn't hold his Cellphone as there is no room to push it down and when you put it on your belt the phone will be out when you try to seat...
