It just came yesterday. I did the curing this morning. Sure does ,look great.

This is a very nice addition to our wood stove. Love the design and appears heavy duty. Haven’t had the opportunity to use yet but looking forward to it.

It is well made and heavy. Works very wel, but the inside is painted and after a while the paint "boils" off on the inside and is messy to clean. Outside stays attractive. Lid is a little awkward toget off when it is hot.

Great pot

This is a beautiful piece of cast iron that we use in front of our fireplace to keep a little moisture in the room during the winter months. It is a quality piece and the wolf artwork in the top is very well done. It is heavy, as expected, but is an eye catcher when you walk into the room. My wife loves it so if Mama's happy, everybody is happy!

This is an important accessory for wood stoves in your living space. The air dries out quickly without it.I started my search for a cast iron wood stove steamer with intentions of buying something vintage, but the prices were outrageous for rusted metal.I settled on this product because it looked decent, cyber Monday price was hard to beat, and it has a cool wolf on the lid. It also was smaller than others I saw. I have a Jotul 602 and real estate on top is limited. I paired it with a fan to maximize heat and steam convection.The only downside I anticipate is that the seasoning on this particular piece isn’t the best, so I’m sure I’ll be reapplying with my cast iron recipe sometime, but that’s not a big deal to me.*Update after one week*The finish coating on the inside of the pot started to come off, I assume due to heat. Not a big deal, it still looks good on the outside.

I know how to take care of wrought Iron. I have a whole kitchen on fry pans and other wrought iron.I have never seen them rust. I put water in this once and the outside of the lid on the top is rusting as well as places on the inside, I'll so back to using my old wore out stainless steel pot.

I use it for a simmer pot, it does the job and works great for my home, also looks pretty

Habe ihn als Luftbefeuchter auf unserem Kaminofen stehen. Er ist super in der Verarbeitungund ein absoluter Eyecatcher. Von mir eine absolute 100 Prozentige Empfehlung.Würde ihn sofort wieder Kaufen.
