Update: The 2" trim was coming off at one of the ends. I contacted Cowles and without hesitation they replaced the product, so I am giving 5 stars to all 3 products.Original: I purchased Cowles 2", 1/2 inch and edge guard. The last 2 get 5 stars, but the 2 inch is NOT the same as the others.All 3 products are excellent and they revived my old SUV. It is relative easy to apply, but be careful measuring.The 3M adhesive does not cover the whole width of the 2 inches, but it has two narrow stripes on each end of the 2 inches. The problem comes when you apply pressure can create dents in the middle and may not hold as well.

Item looks great on my Malibu !!! Product was fairly easy to work with a little persuasion, but all in all went right on and looks great. Item also made very durable. Thank You !!!

Not quite as easy to install as indicated
If your installation area has any curves, it's more difficult to install than I thought it would be. Hard to measure for those curved areas, too. But, looks good now that they are in place; hope they keep dings from occurring!

Very attractive!
Fairly easy to put on, but takes patience. I am very happy with the way it looks and it appears to be sticking. no red tape to pull of to get it to stick. Just put it on. Would order again. Love the chrome.

Maybe for Teens or Other Young Drivers
Looks silly on a grown man’s car.I put this trim on the doors of a Buick Enclave and I thought that it detracted rather than adding to the appeal. I know that it is just my opinion but this product looks silly on nicer cars or cars driven by adults.The strips are shinier/lighter than real chrome so it is instantly recognizable as aftermarket and plastic. Secondly, dealers do not put chrome strips on the edges of car doors for a reason; it looks silly and cheap.I took a gamble when I bought this product and I didn’t like it. However that is not to say that you won’t like it. It does stick well and install easily so that is a plus.I honestly would not apply this product on a nice car even if I did like the appearance however. I removed these in hot weather when the adhesive was really pliant and the paint was still ripped off of the inside edge of my car door in one spot.

The trim would not stay in place. I went as far as using a small block of wood & hammered it in place. Just kept coming off. I threw it in the trash!
