These are beautiful, vintage-looking light bulbs!
I have ordered 2 sets of the 40 watt incandescent vintage light bulbs. They arrived well-packaged, in perfect condition. with enough padding to withstand a little bumping around. The shape & nice length is perfect and the filament in them is just beautiful……much more spectacular lit-up than the smaller amount of filament that is put in the LED bulbs. The lower the wattage, the more your eye can see the filament. I ordered the 40 watt instead of my usual 60 watt and really can’t tell the difference in brightness but they definitely catch your eye! Love them!

They look great out of the box, shine bright
Even for a 40w bulb the glow is very healthy. Tested all 12 bulbs and they are working as they should. These bulbs are generally expensive but 12 bulbs for the price I got them at with prime shipping was as good a deal as I was really going to find. I'm going to string these up outdoors on an outdoor strand, in particular this one:http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00J4CUO3S/ref=twister_B00J4H46YG?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1In the spirit of disclosure, the strand I mention above came to me defective. It has 15 sockets, and 4 did not work. Of course I contacted Amazon for a refund and a 1:1 swap. I am waiting to see what comes of that order.As for the light bulbs, they are very neat looking, are apparently dimmable (have not tried this yet), and I bet they'll look a whole lot cooler with a bit of the heat turned down. These things really do glow. I'm glad I settled for the 40w over the 60w.So far I recommend. The test of time and the elements will dictate how long these things are going to last.

Broke upon arrival
I am sure this is a nice bulb but whomever packaged it, threw it in a box with another item and no bubble wrap, tissue or anything so as it bounced around getting here, it was shattered by the time it arrived.

Product was exactly what I was expecting. Really like the vintage Amber glow. All bulbs were intact on arrival. Great price considering what you pay for them individually at Home Depot or Canadian Tire. Our light fixture requires 40 watt bulbs but could not find the 40 watt ones anywhere, only 60 watt.
