Perfect!
This has been a long time coming, because I have two cupboards in my bedroom that have been open for everyone to see all of the crap stored inside them for a couple of years, and I've been procrastinating on whether to get louvre doors, sliding doors or simply hang recessed curtains in them. As you may have guessed, I went for the latter of those three options primarily because it was the cheapest and least fiddly of the options.I managed to attach a curtain rail to each of the cupboards with almost no problems at all, but the difficult decision revolved around what type and colour of curtains to get for them. My partner and I decided that purple would without doubt be the best choice as it would match the main curtains on the windows in the room, so we looked and looked and procrastinated further, but decided to go for these Homescapes ones in the end. We're glad that we did, because these curtains are really quite beautiful. We obviously didn't buy them for the blackout qualities, but it's an added bonus as a 'Smart' electricity meter hides behind one of them and was bothering me with its bright flickering red light during the night, which I can no longer see since the curtains went up. The quality of the material is good; they're nice and soft and luxurious feeling.Since they were being hung up in cupboards, my other half had to trim some off the bottom of each of them and hem them up properly with her sewing machine and they look magnificent now. These curtains are so nice that we're probably going to buy another set for the bedroom window and probably even for the living room one too! Highly recommended!

No complaints!
Love these curtains. They do exactly what I baught them for. They keep the light out well and personally I think they look great, the material is a nice thickness and does not feel cheap and nasty. I would defintely buy them again and would recommend these curtains. Thanks!

Not the best
I think these look quite cheap. On looking at the reviews before I bought, I thought they'd be okay. I was fairly disappointed when I opened them. I'd say a better bedroom curtain than living room. They do not come with tie backs- which is a shame as I think that would make the curtain look better. They so have a slight pattern on them too, which you cannot see very well on the picture.

Unruly and short. Will not form pleats to hang nicely.
I bought pastel blue, size 90” by 54” drop for a 210cm track.Good points: Nice colour. Good blackout.Bad Points: Heading tape has insufficient depth. If you have a Swish Deluxe track it will be visible above the curtains. I had to change the track. The curtains were at least an inch shorter than 54”. I ironed on the two star ** setting but this reduced the sharpness of the creases by about 50% only. Despite tying the curtains back permanently for ten days and then daily since untying, I just cannot get these curtains to behave and form regular folds or hang nicely. I have tried clips for a while but still they are unruly and look shabby except when arranged manually and tied back. I have now threaded weighted tape through the hem to try and give them some weight.SummaryI regret buying these curtains because of the time I have spent on them. Although they are cheap, they are only average value for money as they are only suitable if you are looking for a temporary or chaotically casual solution. I really don’t understand how these curtains have such good reviews as I have bought inexpensive ready made curtains before and been satisfied with them.

Great value for money
I'm a nurse and do the typical and ridiculous rotation of days and nights as well as being easily woken by bright lights on my days off! (Although loud noises don't disturb me at all).I've been eyeing up blackout curtains for years now but I've never bothered because I live in rented accommodation and it seemed like a lot of effort so I've taken to wearing an eye mask but I also get migraines and sometimes can't tolerate having anything on my face and I can't tolerate bright lights either.I bought these because of the price and they are absolutely excellent. Not absolutely pitch black during the day but dark enough for me to sleep through sun rise, which is perfect. My only complaint is now when I wake up and it's dark and I think it's around 3am and I have hours to sleep, it's actually usually 5 mins before my alarm is due to go off.As for migraine sufferers, these are perfect. They darken my room enough for me to lie in bed comfortably without having anything cover my face so I'd recommend these to anyone who suffers with photophobia and migraine.

Truly are light weight and blackout
I have just hung the curtains, they were a joy to put up, because they were not heavy, so there was no strain on my neck and shoulders. They are a great colour, and they are a truly blackout curtain, I have a street lamp outside and these really stop the light coming in and it was still dark In the bedroom when it was daylight , ideal for night workers, and best of all British Made!

Blackout and great quality
I gave these 5 stars for lightweight only because I didn’t want to mark them down! I was really pleasantly surprised by the quality, lovely colour and great blackout quality! I’m thrilled with these curtains. They have a small pattern in which isn’t obvious when buying but it’s lovely. Highly recommend.
