I never understand people who go to the trouble of making their homes beautiful, but somehow manage to overlook hardware details and choose from the 99% of bolt locks that are, yes, perfectly serviceable, but very often pretty ordinary and sometimes downright ugly.This is a simple slide bolt has a low profile that goes with most decor. I have used this in a 70-year-old English manor house and a more contemporary coastal home and it looked at home in both places.Simple to install and unobtrusive. Nice finish too.

Well made. Holds our storm door secure at the threshold.

Seems fairly well made, however, it arrived with significant number of scratches to the finish (despite being well packaged), and the included strikeplates are very flimsy.

The striker plate (the bit you attach to the door jamb) is MUCH too smallI’m OK with a little filing to adjust minor fit BUT this hardware is altogether wrongThis product can not be used as shipped

Heavy small discrete bolt used for bathroom door . Felt stiff in hand but once installed nice and positive. Installation in our confined space a bit fiddly but antique brass finish looks and feels quality and hidden screws under the bolt make for a tidy smart little bolt. Pleased I chose this. Two fittings to receive the bolt supplied to suit circumstances. Heavy bolt and catch satin finished look and feel superb to use,
