Price is great and the ride is perfect!
The people that have said they had issues more than likely didn't read or purchase the correct part. I am so picky on parts and quality. If you need to replace just one strut do both. The new strut is slightly higher by about 1”. That is simply because its new. This is why you replace both. Plus the ride these give you is super smooth yet you still feel the road. This was my first time doing struts and it took me 45 mins to an hour at the most per side. It is super easy. Unbolt the 3 nuts on the top. Remove the two bolts on bottom and use a pry bar to remove the bottom of the strut. It will fall out and fall down outta the trunk area. Remove and insert new strut the same way as the old one came out. Its super easy. Tighten well but not too tight. The nuts are kinda cheap and will strip. I personally used the old original nuts on the new strut. It worked great. I did use their two included bolts for the bottom where you connect the bottom of the strut. However I have to agree with others that the included bolts are cheap. That said, the top three threaded studs are strong so use the oem nuts. The studs won’t strip. You buy these because the price is great and the ride is perfect. Purchase 4 replacement bolts that are a real grade 8 for the bottom mounting bolts if you want stronger mounting. I cannot stress enough that other then cheap hardware that is $5-$8 bucks to upgrade if you want too do that for piece of mind, these struts will raise your vehicle about 3/4” to 1”. I am super picky and big time ocd lol and I promise you these are a great value. Because I delayed replacing the strut for a few weeks my motor mount broke and I had 1 bolt break on the sway bar bushing hold down clamp. So don’t be dumb like me. lol. Replace them asap. It will save you money, I promise you this! Price is right, quality is fine and these are easy to install. I do have a 1/2”Milwaukee impact gun so that did help me but if you have some sockets you can do these in your driveway. It’s easy! **These struts are not for the level ride model. There are videos on YouTube that show you how to use these on a level ride system and use a wire to bypass the check engine light for that system.

Easy to do if you are mechanically inclined
Took the wheels off, took the wiring harness stays off of the top three studs each side of a 2013 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4 LTZ. Took the sway bar end links off each side. Took the three nuts off the top studs put one back on catching two threads just to hold it up until I was ready to take it out completely. Took the two bottom bolts out and then released the last top nut. It lifted up and out of the pocket. I used the original top three nuts as they had a wide supporting flange built into each nut to support the strut tower which I liked. I also reused the bottom speed clips that snap out of the original's small slice in the casting and snap back into the same slice on the new ones. I also reused the bottom bolts. I tried to get them back into the same exact location that they came from so the front end geometry wasn't way off. It needs two front tires and an alignment and it should be good to go. No more klunking and banging. Easy fix half the cost of the local auto parts stores. If you are mechanically inclined then this is an easy job to do. A++++++

Front Struts for my 2018 Chevy Tahoe 4x4 SSV
I'm glad that I was able to get this item on Amazon as it was perfect fit and was definite improvement on ride quality. I'm not sure why the Chevrolet dealership here in Layton, UT wouldn't sell the complete front shut assembly, they only sold the center replacement shock & not the spring.

Ride quality is harsh
Don't waste your money. My nice riding Escalade now sits 2" higher in the front making a noticeable difference getting in and out of the suv and rides like a tank.

2019 Tahoe front struts
Super easy to install. Pulled the front tires, removed old strut s then installed the new ones. Took me an hour and half. They lifted the front 2” so Tahoe rides level now. They also ride smooth.

They fit nice. Work good truck has its factory stance and way better ride than my old worn out shocks. The hardware for the top 3 nuts they supplied in my opinion are not big enough. The shoulder on the nuts is not wide enough. The factory ones do thread on and are a lot larger so I reused the factory top three nuts. The bottom bolts and nuts work fine though. Good thing because I ended up having to cut mine off due to rust.

Very cheap construction. The lower cup that holds the bottom of the spring is fastened with 2 of the tiniest welds, I wouldn’t even be inclined to call them tack welds. Approximately 30 kilometres after install the welds sheered causing the strut to collapse on itself.
