I have a multi species fishing boat.As it turns out, I made a good mistake when mounting my trolling motor. I angled it a little bit too far inside what I was intending to. However, because of that error, it make mounting this a breeze. You can see why when you see how much stuff I have mounted on the front part of my boat in the video.I actually bolted this one on.I really like how most of this just twists right off. This is especially nice if you have a boat lift with the PVC stick bumpers.

Definitely not that reliable for mounts! Ripped the screws right out trying to get my anchor stick out of the water. Make sure you bolt a plate underneath of you can, so this doesn't ruin your boat like mine!

The product is well made and was easy to install. After it was used one time I needed to take it off. Pulled up on release pin and it would not turn. I had to force it off. The three screws that are factory installed came loose and were jammed! They should have use loctight but didn’t. It messed up the threads and I had to use tap to repair.

it works.... they use screw in sliders to mate the two and that is rather a shotty idea. Welded fixed to fit the slots would have been a better decision.But as long as you constantly check to make sure the screws are just right they work ok in the slots. Buy some loctite to secure them
