Lucas LUC10013 10013 Fuel Treatment - 1 Gallon

Have been using Lucas products for a very long time, no complaints, only quality products that actually work. Bought a newer vechile this last January, 2015 Pathfinder, and it was not getting quite the gas mileage I was expecting, starting using this Lucas upper injector cleaner before I did a extensive and expensive coil and plug change, as I have with every vechile I've owned the last 20 years, and after only a few fill ups, had improved gas mileage by nearly 2 miles per gallon. Tried about every other brand on the market, nothing comes close!

Beware if you have a newer vehicle with out a gas cap (Fords and Hondas for sure) these gas necks have a flap about four inches down that the gas nozzle opens. It you try to pour the Lucas lubricant into the tank without opening that flap… it will back up and you will have a mess. Wound up getting a clear 5/8” hose at a hardware store to open the flap , then squeeze the oil from the quart container into the tank. It work, but it’s not the best. You don’t want the hose to fall into the tank. I did not see an Amazon solution to this issue. But the engine does run better and mpg is good. If you snip off the nozzle on the bottle, find a good cap or the oil will go everywhere…

User BEWARE: If you have a newer model car with the capless gas cap, you will definitely need something to open the area into the gas tank so the oil can reach where it needs to go. Someone posted about using 5/8” vinyl tubing so I went for it. Yeah, it worked great until I couldn’t pull the tubing out & it was hades trying to remove it. Luckily there was a YouTube video that showed me how. I was almost in tears but the YouTube video saved me, along with a 18” flathead screwdriver that I inserted inside the hose and pushed against the lock clips. I would imagine there is a funnel designed for this so make sure you buy that instead of doing the tube method.

The stuff really works. I didn't notice any difference with the first time I used it. The 3rd time I definitely noticed at the end of the week with my normal commute I get almost a quarter tank better. I used a little more than they suggest per application only because they said you cannot over do it. Each time I used it I used a little more and that's when I noticed the difference.

I guess it works, I was getting 9 mpg on my motorhome before using when added to fuel and pulling a car hauler with car at 4500 lbs it was getting 8.4 mpg.

This stuff is incredible. My range went from around 390 to 413 and it keeps climbing. That’s about 5% increase of range. My long term average MPG went up 0.2 mpg after only 2 tanks. Those numbers don’t lie. My car also feels way more responsive. I’ll keep adding this stuff to every fill up.

I received my gallon of Lucas oil treatment today, put 30 ounces in tank of 30 gallons fuel, 06 dodge 2500 hemi engine, i had to see results to believe it, instantly engine ran smoother i could not believe it without seeing first hand , i will be using Lucas treatment for ever now, thanks Lewis , the engine ran so much better i had to go for a 10 mile drive this is going to be a miracle. This is a update i have used this Lucas in my john deer riding mowers makes them run better and start without using choke to start engine, used in Husqvarna leaf blower could see big difference instantly, i am 83 and this is a miracle product, without seeing would not believe. Used this fuel treatment in my daily driver and noticed better throttle response after a full tank. It helps clean injectors and adds some upper cylinder lubrication. Easy to use and worth the small investment to keep things running right. Highly recommended for routine maintenance.
