PlayersClassic Birds-Eye Maple with Triple Silver Rings Cue

I received the cue as scheduled. It is a well made, beautiful appearance in both the colored wood and unstained wood. The grip is well made and very comfortable - as well made as cues costing twice as much. I am very happy with the cue and the workmanship is high quality throughout. I ordered the 19oz. version and the stiffness of the small section is just right - no tendency to miscue compared to other cues I have that are too flexible near the tip and swerve off the cue ball when shooting off center for english or draw. The tip is properly installed and shaped and mine was ready to use out of the box. If you need a "decent" cue and don't want to spend $200 and up, this cue is an excellent choice and is a very good value. I plan to order another one of a different color for my best friend who plays with me.

Firstly, it very smooth, when you move it aross your finger, it's like silk. When you use it and hit the white ball, you can feel the quality of the wood, and the force follow the shot is pure and as expected.One more advice is the weight you choose. I'm a 155lbs guy, not exerecise very often, my 19oz cue seems a little light for me. FYI to choose the right weight.

the cue has a smooth straight shaft it hits solid no vibration i love the colour it stands out the irish linen wrap is smooth and comfortable the tip had no shape so i had to spend 15 minutes to get a dime radiusalso the cue was wrapped in some sort of plastic bag and then put in a standard amazon box to just move around that is not acceptable there should have been bubblewrap as well at least to protect it more so overall cue 10/10 tip 3/10 packaging 1/10

Steve is a great guy and he really goes above and beyond his products for customers. I got the C960 Players cue back in 2015 and it has been a great stick and well balance. A few weeks ago i noticed the ferrele had cracked and I got ahold of Steve and sent a few photos and next thing I know he sends me a new shaft. Now that is customer service!!! I have also bought 3 more Player cues from him and they are all great cues. The HXTE2 and the HXTE5 and a Players C950. You can't go wrong with any choice from progear... Thanks Steve.

Awesome stick. Well balanced with a nice finish. I have about 100 racks on it and it's still smooth without having to wax it. Thinking about another one to replace a lessee quality cue.

Beautiful red birds-eye handle, linen wrap and nice taper. Great value for the money. If you're looking for a starter stick this is it. I only took off one star because the tip needs to be shaped before you can use it, so you'll need to order or borrow a bow tie shaper tool.

This is an excellent cue. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to any of my friends. The one that I got isn't nearly as dark a red as the pictures would make it appear, but it's quite a clean, classic look. The quality is excellent, and feels well worth the price for what you're getting.You'll probably want to order a case to go with it.
