This necklace is very nice. The chain seemed sturdy and the pendant was sparkly and shiny. I knew the length of the chain before I purchased this necklace and knew it would be too short for how I wanted to wear it. But, I have a longer chain I love and I simply wanted to remove the pendant portion of this necklace to put on my other chain. Unfortunately, you really can't remove the pendant from the chain - the opening is just too small to slip over the clasps. I have other necklaces where the pendant CAN be easily removed and was hoping this would be similar. I would have kept this had I been able to remove the pendant. I thought either in one of the other reviews or in one of the questions, someone had asked if it could be removed from the chain and the answer was 'yes', but it really cannot. Perhaps having that information in the item description would help others in the future.

This is a pretty necklace and the jewel was sparkly. This is a gift for my sister but it has no foam insert to wrap the necklace around just two plastic bags to keep it untangled and a soft jewelry bag. I want it to be presentable but unfortunately its not. shell enjoy it either way but i dont get a satisfying reveal when she opens it unfortunately

The gemstone is perfect, but chain is cheap, to transfer it to another chain is too difficult because there is not a sliding loop to remove the chain.
