Good replacement battery for y740. The wire is a bit long but not an issue for me.

Willingness to make things right
The product started out as a defective product. The company reached out to me and corrected the issue without any hassle or grief. This was the easiest return and replacement I have ever experienced. My house has 5 laptops, and I will be looking to this company first when I replace their batteries.

The Battery is not compatible with Y540-171RH
I was not able to install the battery and use it because the cable that connects to the motherboard is not long enough to connect to the motherboard.

Not the proper length cable
The product was well packaged ...Now the bad. As shown in the images the original Lenovo battery L17M3PG2 has a longer cable it's only a quarter inch or so but that means when properly secured you cannot connect the batter for the Lenovo Legion Y540-17IRH. I guess I will try to find another one. Oh joy.Edit: Customer service reached out and were polite. They offered a refund which was already in process by Amazon. I just wish this had fit since it was same volts and mah as original battery. Oh well. I did update to 2 stars. Small suggestion would be for the length to be measured for the cable and have that shown on images so customers can compare properly.Another note I believe my laptop is the 2019 legion y540-17irh which apparently is the reason the length might be wrong.

Perfect fit.
Installed it in February, excellent performance so far. Provides a steady 1:30 to 2:00 hours of work time. It's a good replacement battery but take into consideration replacing it every year or two.

Works as Described
Great drop in replacement for my laptop. Works as advertised takes a charge correctly. Can't really complain. Shipping was as fast as it could be given the situation.

Timely arrival
Came in timely fashion. Unfortunately that was not the problem with our laptop

Does Not fit a Legion Y540 17 lRH
Wires are too short. by about a half an inch. The listing needs to be changed. The product quality and delivery were decent.
