Nice burlap flags preassembled on burlap twine, don’t even have to take them off to use stencils if you don’t need to. The burlap and the stencils were both very good quality. I started out using a black fabric marker (see pic) and I like the rough hewn, vintage look to it but may try a liquid chalk or paint marker, not sure. Honestly no complaints though, would definitely order again if another occasion arises!Edit: still in love with this banner, massive compliments, but discovered the hard way that simply using a fabric marker did not make it dark enough if hung across a window. Hung on a wall would have been fine but the light drowned out the black marker. Had to put cardboard behind it really quickly, it was either that or maybe trying to use black paint. Just an FYI...but that was me, no fault of the burlap banner. Love this thing and would buy it again!!

I used this banner on a school bulletin board. It looks great! The stencils are very sturdy and I'll use them on other projects.

Bought this banner for a western themed retirement party. Easy to paint with a sponge brush and acrylic craft paint. Make sure you protect your work surface, and the banner material is course burlap and the paint will soak through. Also, try not to get it tangled up as it is a bit hard to straighten out again. Good value for the money. You certainly could make this yourself, but as this comes on the string and ready to paint, it is an excellent value. The stencils are good quality and reusable.

This was the perfect size for an office baby shower. It was easy to use the stencils and wash to piece together.

I loved how they turned out for our pictures. If you use paint the paint does seep through and it can get messy but once it dries it’s super cute!

Stencils made it effortlessly easy to paint on the letters with acrylic paint, and they’re reusable!The banner did not bend or warp whatsoever and turned out wonderfully. Great product all around.
