Beauty by Earth Boar Bristle Bamboo Hair Brush

I bought this after reading so many positive reviews on Amazon.com but I am kind of underwhelmed after using it myself. Just after my first use some bristles came out and many are hanging loose like you see in the photo, keep in mind this happened just after my first use, with very light brushing and I have short hair too. Second, its not a 100% Boar Bristle hair brush, it is a mixed one, although I admit that might have been a mistake on my part to assume it was so I can't blame beauty by Earth.

I was disappointed when I got the brush because it did smell like smoke from a fire but it does not leave a scent in my hair at least. It feels like it stimulates the scalp too which is good. It flows easily through my fine hair and I hope as I continue to use it will make my hair more and more full, healthier and shiny.I gave it five stars for the smoky smell but as mentioned it does not leave that scent in my hair. I have not used yet on wet hair though.

I have long fine hair and it can be tricky to find a good hairbrush that doesn't pull my hair out when it hits snags or is just too small for my big hands. This one works great and feels great too, and the price was right. My only complaint is that it smells very strong... like a chemical or burnt wood kind of smell. Hopefully it goes away soon.

Has an unpleasant smell to it. If you have a sensitive head, this brush might not be for you.

The hair brush was delivered quickly and packaged perfect. Only issue is the smell of the brush handle. It definitely has a burnt fire smell to it. Have washed it several times, even thru the washing machine. After using it for a while now, it still has the smell. Hopefully it will go away eventually. Still love the brush tho, works great on my fine hair.

Love how this glides through my hair without pulling. But hate the strong smell of rubber.
