The Steam Facial by Kaz FS614

My facial steamer arrived the same day that an upper respiratory infection hit me full swing. My brother and friend had the exact same illness. I sat with my face in the steamer every couple hours to keep my sinuses clear. It worked wonders! The horrible pressure was completely relieved. Both my neighbor and brother ended up getting full blow sinus infections that required antibiotics but I didn't. I think having the moist heat made all the difference in the world. AND my skin was smooth as a baby's butt! I have had horrible acne since I was nine and I haven't had a single pimple since I started using the steamer. But I've been using the steamer a lot with the cold so don't know if that will fade with more reasonable usage. I would highly recommend to have around the house for those winter colds AND clearer skin.

When I recieved the product it did not even work. I did not want a replacement because it resembled a humidifier more than a facial steamer. I had to pay shipping and handling both ways to return it. I was very unsatisfied.

I absolutely am in love with this facial steamer! I purchased my first one in the mid 1990's and then lost it in a move. When I went to buy another one to replace it I was very bummed out not to be able to find this one. I tried several other brands, and nothing came close. I know that one of the reviews of this product states that the unit didn't work. When I bought my first one, I had the exact same experience of it not producing any steam. However, once I re-read the instructions and added salt to the water, it worked amazingly! So don't forget the salt! :-)

Lots of steam. I use it for a humidifier, as well if I want to steam my face.

I noticed this steamer on Amazon and couldn't help but leave a review. I purchased this facial steamer over 20 years ago. I was in my twenties with very oily skin, however, fast forward to last week >>> I used this thing with rosemary and salt to help me breathe through the night. I was suffering from chest wheezing brought on by the worst flu ever, and I remembered my steamer sitting on the bathroom shelf at about 2am.I prepped it with salt, water, & rosemary and leaned over the bed to inhale the humid air it makes until I fell asleep. I woke up at around 7am and noticed the humming sound had disappeared. The water ran below the line so it just stopped working. It safely went off or into a faint hum. If this is the same facial steamer I just want you to know you can use it for anything that requires humidity, not just your face. This thing is made strong as a bull. All these years later and the steam still gets so hot I have to pull my head back from the mist. I must have used it once or twice per year, if that. Many years I didn't even use it and when I do it never fails me. Big shout out to the little engine or whatever that grey thing is that never seems to die!!

I found this in a thrift shop and by reading the reviews learned that for it to work properly, salt should be added. It's wonderful! I've had others but threw them out. This one works great!
