I have been rug shopping for several weeks and I wanted this rug so bad, but I couldn't afford to spend the $300+ dollars that most websites charge for this product. I never even considered buying a rug from Amazon (although I purchase almost everything else here) but I jumped on one day and just thought I would look. I was so excited when I found this and let me tell you, I am so thankful I purchased. The rug arrived in about 4 days (prime plus a couple of days for getting it out) and it was wrapped really well and very protected. I rolled it out and fell in love. It's a BEAUTIFUL rug, very soft, and just the right pile height. I got new floors and new furniture and it goes perfectly. This is a fantastic product and I would highly recommend it.

Let me start by saying that the rug looks beautiful. Exactly as you see in the picture. I bought it for my nursery and appearance wish it is perfect.The downside is that it is not overly soft and fluffy like I had hoped it would be. It is literally a large cut of carpet. If you go to a carpet store and grab a sample of a frieze carpet, that is exactly how this rug feels. I would recommend getting a carpet pad, just to help make it more cushy on your feet.I was strolling through Lowes one day and that had a very similar rug on display for about the same price and it was ridiculously soft and plush ( more what I thought I was getting). If had known this (similar) rug existed a Lowe's I definitely would have bought that one.I gave my review 4 stars, because like I said it is a beautiful rug and I more or less assumed based on the image that it would be more soft and plush which I feel is my error. It is in our nursery, looks great, and will stay.

Looks amazing in my apartment! Really ties the room together and makes the living room feel warm. However, it is very thin but I can't complain because the price is unbeatable. I did a lot of research before buying and I am very happy with my purchase. If you want something with a little more cushion, then you'll be spending probably double this price.

I have been purchasing a rug or two a year for the past seven years since I started living with dogs, and I've tried a variety of brands and styles of rugs and found that I really liked the slate blue/ivory rug from Safavieh. I recently moved and decided to try a lighter shade and went with the seafoam color instead. The color is fine, but the quality is significantly lower than the slate blue. It's half as thick and half as dense, so it actually feels like there is only 25% of the quantity of fiber in the seafoam rug compared to the slate blue. The slate blue is plushy and soft and comfortable, but the slate blue is flat/limp and not soft at all. Kind of like those terrier dogs with wiry hair that look like they just came out of the carwash. It's way too much of a hassle to return (8'x10')--especially since I cycle through them in less than a year--but I would not recommend this rug at all. However, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this rug in the slate blue color because you get twice the plush and twice the softness.

For the price, this rug can't be beat. We bought 2 runners and a 6x9 for our living room and couldn't be happier. They are super stylish and, so far, very durable. We have 5 kids, a dog and a cat and we were slightly worried about how these would hold up. It's been a month now and they are holding up well to high traffic amd daily vacuuming. We've had a few spills and they were easily cleaned up without any staining. There is no padding so it's not very cushiony, but we weren't expecting it to be. We did buy some non-slip pads to go underneath to keep the rugs from sliding on our hardwood floors.

This is my first review using pictures & I had to work to figure out how to post with a picture but it’s so worth it! I spent forever trying to find the right rug for our new townhouse & after reading so many different reviews, I decided to try this one & im so glad I did! I ordered the 5x7 & it looks amazing. Shipped & arrived quickly. Nicely packaged in case it got wet in transit it would have been fine. It rolled out with no problems & I immediately vacuumed it to fluff it quicker. It did she’d just a bit but nothing bad! Waiting for the edges now to lie flat hopefully in the next day or so, but I couldn’t be more happier!
