These adapters are great. The quality is nice, and worked with a perfect fit on some NVX x-series 6x9s. No modifications required to work with those speakers. Very easy install also. Everything lined up like factory. The only think I didn’t care for was they came in one bag stacked together. They could get scraps chef or a tab could get broken. But for the price, you can’t complain.If you have an e36 and stock 4” in the rears, get these adapters! I used the NVX x-series 6x9 two ways and I wired them like factory to the 4 pin connector. The Sound is pretty impressive now with a stock amp and front speakers.Can’t wait to redo the front speakers and amp!

Fitment is good, a really good upgrade for the e36 platform.A+

1. If you're moving up from 5.25" speakers it would be nice to have instructions.2. You might have to notch out the sides to get the 6x9's to sit flush. I used the adapter with Rockford Fosgate speakers & had to cut an inch into the lip.3. Maybe supply screws/bolts mounting hardware.In the end for the money & if you're experienced in DIY car audio it's a simple setup/install. Just know you'll need extra hardware.

Thought it would rattle or feel cheap but these actually work perfect. They do affect the sound a little but I am sitting at the front so it doesn’t make a very big difference. You don’t need to drill anything out if you just use two mounting holes it will still hold fine. Plastic is a little soft so don’t screw into it too tight.

fit my E36 coupe just fine. A bit snug on the speaker mounting side but everything snugged up OK. Mounted a pair of JBL 6x9s.

If your e36 didn’t come with 6x9’s this is a must have. Great upgrade. Modified my adapter to hold a separate tweeter over the 6x9 so I didn’t have to modify the cars existing factory wiring.

Pair these with Kicker 43DSC69304 speakers and a decent head unit. Bruh.

Installed to a BMW E36 M43B16 316i sedan. Perfect fit to the factory spot. I think its the perfect way to improve your sound system from the rear, just by putting some extra bass to the car.

Parfait pour mon e36 qui a du 10cm d'origine en haut parleur la on passe en 6x9 sans modification je recommande!!!
