Great pump. Easy to install and very quiet. The app makes me feel better when I go on vacation. I have everything monitored. The tech support called me back within a couple of minutes when I had a question. Would buy this pump again!

This pump was great until it didn't work! Only worked for 6 months. We have been calling the manufacturer and the number is no longer in service. We are very frustrated and need a call back ASAP. Need a replacement pump ASAP!!!! drowning.....Went on line and to no avail. Still waiting for someone! HumanWill change if we get response.

I purchased the PumpSpy system and hooked it up with relative ease. It is hard to screw up the setup as the connections are color coded and instructions are very clear. The smart controller however is problematic and I question it will work properly under heavy usage. This company appears to be a small operation as they have not been very responsive to my concerns. The unit appears to be glitchy and I’ve tried everything they recommended, but problems still persist. I was finally told it is likely a battery problem so I will get it tested before I request replacement. The app is pretty clunky and runs slow the majority of the time, which is not a big deal as long as the sump pumps work 100%. In all, I like the device and will give it two more stars after I get through a season without problems.

Ordering the full unit with primary and backup pumps already installed was great because install took me (handy, but not a pro) less than 20 minutes. Connecting it to my network was a breeze and all has been working well since. we tested the unit when I first set it up by filling the crock with water, and both primary and backup pump are whisper quiet (our primary complaint of our old sump pump was the noise) App set up was easy enough but the app itself is useable, albeit a bit clunky. So far so good though as the unit has correctly given its status through the app as well as dutifully running though its self test process. So far so good, but the ultimate test will be during snowmelt in the spring.

Easy installation and app setup. Just cut my original pipe, pulled my old pump and then installed this one. App setup was a breeze, and now I can see how many times the pump goes off and it constantly checks the battery levels. It also checks the back-up pump once a day. I haven’t gotten any warning alerts and since I travel, this system brings me and my family relief when we get lots of rain.

Not sure how, but was defective before it arrived.

OK - I never write reviews. I know people say that sometimes, but I can count on no hands how many times I’ve done so. But I wanted to take a second to commend Pump Spy for absolutely first rate customer service. I bought the pre assembled unit recently and had it installed. Soon after, it failed the self test. It happens. Turns out something was defective. Great. That happens too! Sometimes things make it past quality control. Anyway, the thing I wanted to commend was the company’s first rate handling of the situation. I was able to do a zoom call with the technician to troubleshoot the issue and they sent a complete replacement when it was obvious that was necessary. I have never received such treatment from a company and I still cannot believe they were as helpful, attentive and nice about the whole thing. Great job, Pump Spy!
