I bought this tape measure for my 3yr old because he kept taking my good one to play with. He absolutely loves it! It does feel a bit lightweight and cheap but he doesn’t care. The key ring part broke off after a couple days, but my husband was able to bend the little metal ring to put it back on…after the child fell apart that it broke. I doubt it would last very long if you really wanted to use it regularly as a good tool, if that’s what you want then look elsewhere, but for a fun toy my kid loves it and it’s perfect.

I got this to replace my basic cheapie that my 2yo had been playing with since she was a baby. Since I knew she’d play with the new one, I got the chicken and we both just adore how cute it is. It keeps her plenty occupied when we’re at the doctor’s office, so, it’s sturdy, and always comes in handy carrying it around in the diaper bag.

Larger than I thought it would be, but so darn cute, I love it! Seems to be accurate, better to hold the "nose" down when pulling out the tape as opposed to not. Always brings a smile to my face when sewing or taking measurements for anything.

Probably somewhere in the description of this items I overlooked the size, but just in case you need to know, this is keychain sized. It works fine for my kid to play with, it was just smaller than I anticipated.

Super cute but very cheap! It broke by the second week. ( The spring mechanism froze, and it would no longer coil.) Don't waste your money!

My four year old loves helping grandpa and really loves the tape measure. Unfortunately he's a little rough on them and has gotten cuts. He was absolutely thrilled when Santa put this happy little guy in his stocking! It's soft tape so no cuts, easy to pull out, the retract button works great without any startling sounds. I'm thinking of getting another one just to keep with me.
