Great alternative to a wrist watch!
This was exactly what our teenage son was looking for to use at work. He is not able to have a phone with him to tell time, but the workplace had a clock in the breakroom only. He wanted a watch that was easy to read that he could clip on his belt loop and not wear on his wrist. The time numerals are facing the correct direction, they light up very easily and it is made with good quality materials. It is not too big nor too small to read. It appears it will last a very long time if cared for properly. We couldn't find anything like this after searching several stores. Would definitely purchase again.

The Unwatch
This purchase was a great disappointment: 1) Clock settings could not be set or changed following the directions provided in the owner's manual; 2) Compass readings do not change with direction; 3) the stop watch/timer function was never obtained. This unit is essentially a non-functional bauble with an attractive appearance.

Portable pocket watch with alarm.
This is a good item , as a pocket watch, it has a clip to allow it to be put on your belt or belt loop or even your backpack. It has an alarm (lasts only 1 minute tho), to wake you or to get ready for class. It is a nice gift, if you are in the market for a watch which goes with you and is very easy to use ad set. Even with cell phones this doesn't need a charge and can always be accessible.

Alarm Danger
Cool watch, but buttons are very easily pressed. I just wore the watch on my belt clip, and realized that I accidentally pressed C & D at the same time, because it starts beeping like crazy at 1 in the morning. This turned on the alarm for 1 am. A bit frustrating. Little guy is beeping and now my sleep is ruined. π I already have problems sleeping and this watch had to be that easy to enable its alarm.I would recommend users put tape or some kind of barrier for button C, to avoid this happening. This is day 3 of me using it and I can already tell if this thing isnt modded, it will keep accidentally get pressed and the alarm will enable, and continue to alarm at unrequested times. To be clear I am a male in my 20s chronically online, so I'm no stranger to technology. I work with computers at work. I am always using electronics, so it's not as if the user is inexperienced. To be completely honest if this watch does this again, I will most likely grab a hammer and smash it. Most annoying alarm interface.Maybe this shows how easy the buttons are pressed. I may even superglue button C so it can never be pressed again. It will affect other features, but it is upsetting to wake up to an alarm where you don't even know what's going on.It is 1:30am now for me, I may go put this watch in a molten furnace for iron smelting and watch this watch explode. My watch can never be forgiven for the terrible act of waking me up at 1 in the morning.Future watch users, be safe. Consider investing into a molten furnace to throw this thing into when you're upset, or consider modding this watch.I would recommend modding this watch and removing the whistle chip. I may do this myself. All this time I have been writing this review, I could of went through another half of a complete sleep cycle. This watch is in fact a danger to your health. It may interrupt your sleep, then you will be in my position. You will remember this review, and think I have something in common with that crazy Amazon reviewer. This is so incredibly easy to enable the alarm. It was on my belt clip, and I went to work, and came back. I wish the microprocessor on these watches are updated in future releases, where maybe you have to hold C & D for 5 seconds. It is far too easy to enable the alarm. Far too easy. This was a critical mistake in the design of the watch. This is a mark that was missed and is especially important with digital watches. It just needs to make sense. It needs to be cheaply made and just work. And while this does work well! It is just not easy to use. I took me maybe 20 minutes to figure how how this thing worked when I first got it. Updated, I am in the military and have been using some cheap watches for almost 5 years, I am no stranger to watches. No stranger at all. I have went through maybe 4 watches now as working tends to break them. No big deal. Some people have a more rigid work environment. I don't do crazy stuff, just work in an industrial environment. I am no stranger to cheap watches. I have had this problem before, but this was normally able to be a user mistake. But the difference with the other watches is once I understood it's complex UI, I just never went into it's alarm mode. But with this watch it was so easy to enable. That is the deal breaker, it was so easy. I wasn't messing with it at work in the alarm settings. No. I only accidentally pressed C & D and the same time for what could of been less then a sec. 10s of hours passed. Now this watch is beeping like crazy in the middle of the night. Not acceptable. The cheap digital watch market has a few expectations for the watch. It must be able to be usable. I've had it for a week now, I understand how to use it, that's why I'm upset. It's far too easy to enable. Its especially a dangerous watch for those military folks that shift there sleep constantly, so only God may know what time the alarm was set to and when this little watch will beep at you waking you up.I hope that I showed how easy these buttons are pressed. I'm talking it was unbelievable easy. If you have this thing on your belt loop, and you tie your shoe, you may have just enabled a 1am alarm! Congrats! You have join the group of people like me. I seriously need to mod this watch. I planned to just put duct tape over button C.After writing this review, this is my advice for fellow watch users in a similar situation. Alter with the watch to make the buttons harder to operate. I think I will physically remove the C button, and use the soft membrane that presses into the main circuit card. This does make the watch less durable, but I can never risk this again. Never. I hope that in the future I have a job more flexible, because I am tired. And this watch was just the last straw. π I want to take this watch, and put it in a molten lava pool and watch this thing fall into it and right as it touches, it violently reacts, and explodes! Nothing would bring me more joy. I would love to watch this watch explode.I'll still give 4 stars, but for those buying be very careful and consider modding this watch.

Useful tool!
I work on the Ramp at a small airport for a huge company. I was fed up with pulling my phone out to check the time whenever I was in charge of an aircraft.I bought this watch for the sole purpose of seeing the time. I love the tool. Very useful. The tiny compass is a plus.

Works fine, complicated
It works fine, but the buttons are too complicated. Mostly because the instructions are not clear.

Water Damage after 3 days of rain
Water damage after 3 days in the rain.Numbers with gaps which means some numbers you canβt tell the difference, a 9 could look like a 7 etc.I could not return it as I was on a ship working.Fine if you work indoors but not made for outside.
