Had to re-drill holes, slightly bigger, (7mm), but not a problem. Beautiful wood, beyond my expectations!

I enjoy this wood and find it easy to work and the end product is very nice. The wood blanks I received were poorly drilled so I had to redrill the holes, but not a big deal for me just a little frustrating.

Love this wood. At first the odor of it was a little off putting but now I like it!! I make darts, pens, rings and lots more with it. One huge benefit is that it shines itself when heated while sanding. The pen in the picture has no finishing products on it!

Pre-drilled holes were miss-aligned on entire set. Wood was split on 4 our of 10 pieces. Disappointed and wasted $30. I was looking to complete a set of pens for a craft show.

I bought these to save some time making pens. They are perfect. No need to center and drill holes, the tedious work is done already!

I needed a few blanks on the quick and grabbed these as they were the same price as non pre-drilled blanks. Lost 3 brass tubes because 3 of the blanks were not drilled cleanly. Not a huge issue, but I would recommend running the dry brass through before applying adhesive to make sure you don't need to run a drill through them a bit more. They turned well and hold a nice finish

The blanks were half the size so it took 2 blanks to make one slimline and you had to re-drill the holes so completely a waste of money will buy elsewhere next time. Very disappointing but the wood was nice for getting half what it should have been for the price.

Yes I had to re-drill the holes but the grain of the finished pen is absolutely stunning and well worth the price.I will be buying these blanks again.Don't be put off by the cost it's worth it for the finished pen.

The blanks are under 1/2 inch thick as opposed to the 3/4 they should be, and not pre-drilled nor were they cut into 10 blanks, I have 5 slices of useless wood.
