UNUN Window Air Conditioner Covers for Outside , Outdoor AC Unit Covers 25.5W x 17H x 21D inches

The rectangular cover would need to go around the air conditioner unit before any support pieces are placed. The photo is correct - but realize that it shows that the cover does not have any openings for any support struts. I had to cut the bottom out of the one I purchased in order to clear the supports, which could not be removed without removing the entire unit (which is huge!). The only reason for the 3 star rating on durability, sturdiness and ease is because of the need to cut, and because I have no data with regard to durability or sturdiness. It's new!

Stitching was a little off but overall it’s good quality

This cover is nice and thick with a mellow grey color. It also doesn't smell like a dead fish like several of the other AC covers I have attempted to use. One thing that wasn't clear to me before purchase is that the straps are sewn into the cover. If you have a unit you can just slide the cover on then then it is fine and the straps are made of a wide durable material, but if like me you need to adjust where the straps are you will have problems. Also, the clip on one of the straps broke before we even finished tightening the other one. We had some other straps handy and used those instead but it was disappointing.

Well made. It is the same material as a quality BBQ cover. Some reviews complained about the straps & the plastic clips. I found no problems whatsoever.

If you have support brackets as seen in the product image this cover will work if those brackets aren't screwed into the A/C. You'll need to lift the A/C off the brackets enough to slide the cover past them.I ordered the next size up from my A/C dimensions because I box my A/C with a foam cover (made from an exercise mat). Once that's in place I use this cover to protect it from the winter elements.Though some reviews find fault with the tie-down straps, I haven't had a problem. However, my cover isn't in direct sunlight so the straps are spared from UV rays, and I don't pull them so tight as to keep it from blowing off in a tornado.There is no type of insulation built into this cover, so other than cutting down on breezes coming through your A/C don't expect much in the way of R-value.

This is a much better quality cover than those I had been buying at the big box stores. Those were very thin and had small almost unusable straps. Had to always use duck tape to hold them on. This cover is a thicker canvas type material with two large velcro straps which work well to hold the cover on. They look like they will hold up well but time will tell.
