Very nice hard cheese with a lovely texture , doesn’t break up when you cut it , like some
A little pricier than some cheeses , but I think it’s worth it .I prefer cheese to chocolate , so it’s my treat !

Cheese with some bite
Comte tastes so good and even the cheaper examples taste ok I think. It's a great melter and has that mountain milk tatste that goes so well in a ham cheese toastie or with potatoes of part of the mix in a great cheese sauce. This is an inexpensive version but I still enjoyed it and would buy again no problem.

Delicious cheese
Comte is a delicious cheese and I like the fact that it has not been ruined by wrapping it in plastic but instead it is a waxed paper. Plastic is bad for cheeses as they sweat and go mouldy. Ok a good blue cheese is lovely but not when it isn't supposed to be blue. I also love the fact this had rind as all good cheeses should have rind in my humble opinion. I love the flavour of Comte and if it wasnt nearly midnight i would be cutting a slice..Oh what the heck I will make it a tiny slither
