I needed this book to study for the bell diver supervisor exam but it arrived with one page noticeably loose and now after one day multiple pages are just coming lose. Completely unfit for purpose. Do not buy this if you actually intend opening it and using it!!!!!

Most complete and authoritative source I could find anywhere. Book 1 starts with ancient attempts to swimming underwater and primitive approaches for underwater stealth. The wealth and depth of knowledge accumulated by the US Navy is well documented here and presented with amazing detail covering about 100 years of technical evolution. This is a massive book with full size print for a long read. It is well worth the price and shipped quickly. Glad to find both books 1 and 2 on Amazon. I like to support the Dive shops too, but these were a great buy and cover way more information than I had imagined.
