great for healing postpartum
amazing to have on hand and use to speed up the healing after having a baby vaginally. put it in the peri bottle or do a soak in the tub. I love this and even eases the pain. worth having it even if you don't end up using it. Add it to your registry!

Near immediate relief
I wish I knew avi it this when I had my son. Instant relief that I so desperately needed. The box came damaged/opened but the plastic was intact. I’m not going to deduct stars for that since the product works. Definitely worth it

If you have a sitzs bath for postpartum you will want this!
This stuff is great. Used it in the evening after the baby and other kids were asleep. Only problems were the water got cold before I wanted to get out, and my legs would fall asleep sitting so long 🤣

Great for postpartum
Great product to use for postpartum. I used them to make a bunch of frozen padsicles and they were wonderful and I believe helped the healing process. Smells great too and gentle.

Soothing relief after baby!
I purchased the large boxing containing 6 individual herbal pads, which are basically oversized tea bags. The directions say to steep the herbal pad in boiling water for 5 mins and place as a warm compress directly on the perineum. I choose to steep the herbal pad and use it and the water as a sitz bath for 15-20 minutes. This offered a nice change from the normal sitz bath. I felt that the herbal aspect did in fact provide a more soothing and enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this product to any mother postpartum.I was able to get the actual sitz bath device from my nurse at the hospital, however you can find them on Amazon to purchase as well. The only downside, which is just a fact of motherhood, was finding the actual time to prepare the sitz bath or prepare the product as its intended warm compress.

Great addition to a sitz bath
Tried these based on a recommendation of a friend. I only had a small amount of tearing from my birth this time. I wish I had known about this for my first birth when I was taking multiple sitz baths every day. I did heal very quickly this time and the herbs made the bath incredibly relaxing. The packets resemble tea bags and just float in the water. We did not bathe our baby in the hospital but waited a few days. I then used one of the herb packets to take a bath with my baby to give him his first. It made the bath very calming for him. I read through all of the ingredients on the box and they are all natural. I will definitely get these again for my next baby.

Not sure if this works...
I had a second degree tear after my vaginal delivery and it was painful even when I sneezed; it felt like the stitches will burst out every time I put pressure anywhere on my body. Every time I urinated, I felt the burning sensation and I dreaded going to the bathroom. As a result, I searched for any and every pain-relieving remedies and decided to get Earth Mama postpartum package (Herbal Sitz Bath, Herbal Perineal Spray, Perineal Balm).I don't think the Herbal Sitz Bath had any significant healing or pain-relieving effect; just doing the hot sitz bath for 10 minutes twice a day generally helped. There was no difference when I put Herbal Sitz Bath or not. As for Herbal Perineal Spray, I did enjoy the nice refreshing cucumber scent and the cooling sensation on the area I sprayed, but again, I don't think there was any significant healing or pain relieving effect. It was better than Herbal Sitz Bath in a sense that it lifted my mood up, however, I wouldn't spend $10 on it when it doesn't serve its purpose. I did like the Perineal Balm and this is the only item I will purchase again for my future hospital bag or my pregnant friends - it contains peppermint oil that gives immediate cooling sensation that definitely relieved my pain. $11 was well spent, especially given that one container probably lasts for two months which is enough time for the wounds to heal.In conclusion, I tried so many different remedies for my second degree tear snitches and general postpartum pain - the Earth Mama postpartum package, witch hazel pads, hospital kit (Dermoplast pain relieving spray, Tronlane anesthetic cream, Dibucaine ointment 1% topical analgesic, Hydrocortisone cream 1% anti-itch cream, cold packs, peri bottle, etc.). The only three things I'll recommend for postpartum are: Earth Mama Perineal Balm, sitz bath and peri bottle.
