If I could give this more stars I would. My short hair cat that hates being brushed let me brush her with this for well over five minutes and I got so much loose fur out. She's even rolling onto her back and letting me brush her belly. With a "normal" slicker brush no fur comes off of her, but this one works so well. The size is perfect for a larger cat (she's 14 pounds). A much better value than the big brand "fur eliminators" and the cat actually let me use it on her.

Works really well with both my short haired cat and my long haired cat too! I will say it's more ideal for short hair but my long-haired cat who normally dislikes being brushed LOVES this one.

Great shedding blade. Marketed for cats but I use it on my little chihuahua who despite the best food still sheds like crazy.

My cat has been shedding so much this season and the other brushes just weren't working anymore. I saw this and for the price I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! My cat seems happier now as well because she feels better!

the actual brush part is excellent for deshedding but i wish the handle was slightly more comfortable

One of my 5 short-haired cats hates to be groomed but she actually rolled onto her side and even exposed her belly when I used this blade on her. I thought the strange scraping/scratching noise it makes would scare all my cats but none of them ran from it. This tool works best on my dense-coated cats that are non-stop shedders and does little to nothing on the two cats with silkier coats. My cat with hyperesthesia (ripples his back if touched) even let me run it very gently over his back as long as it wasn't directly over his spine and he's never been able to be groomed without traumatizing him so I'm doubly pleased with this device. Since my cats are all indoor-only I can't take them outside to groom, so I just turn off the a/c and ceiling fans to limit how far the fur floats. I think another reviewer suggested using your second hand to pet the cat and grab up the loose fur and that helps some but I mostly accept there will need to be some fur clean-up when done.

It really pulls the hair off my cats and is easy to clean. My cats get excited when they see me grab my brush. They actually roll around, purring, as I brush them being totally cooperative and exposing evey inch of themselves, so I don't miss any area! 😅🤣😂
