I have used this product for a few days now and it is much better than my last hair product. I was using a wax stick for my hair, which would hold, but looked shiny and greasy and clumped hairs together. This product is almost unnoticeable when using. It is a matte finish and when applying it goes on almost as a gel, but once it dries it hardens and holds the hair nicely. The only thing I don't like is that throughout the day strands of hair begin to fall down. I think once I use this more and begin to get the feel for it, I will be applying more than I am now. Also, it washes out very easily, even with just water.The bottle is very small, I would recommend buying a few of them.

Styling into medium-length hair with a light prestyler.Scent: Unscented.Consistency: Extremely creamy.Application: Goes into the hair smoothly at first, but then becomes a bit sticky.Styling: It's a bit tough to move your hair around while styling due to the waxy/sticky texture, but you can definitely achieve a desired style.Finish: A great hold with fairly low shine. It adds some texture, but it's more the hair sticking together than flowing together. Hard to run your hands through, which isn't too big an issue, but other products with a similar feel work far better and cost a lot less.

I have tried several different clay products and this is by far the best I have tried.(1) hold: I only use a little bit every time and iit holds very well and last throughout my whole day outside. I think the tube is going to last me for a long time.(2) smell: there is not muddy clay smell like some other clays. It has a slight scent, not strong and smells nice(3) wash: I have tried Sebastian before and it's very hard to even to wash off the remaining from my hands. 1979 clay is fairly easy to wash offOverall I am very satisfied with this clay. I will definitely buy again and also try their other line of products and see if other products are as good as the clay

I've tried so many different hair products before, but the 1979 molding clay and wax is definitely one of the best hair styling products I've used. This product provides a very natural style look and long-lasting holding period. It's a fabulous product for people who like to style their hair to look natural while avoiding oily and greasy look. The product is very easy to wash off of your hands compared to most of the other products out there. Also, the price is very reasonable for the amount of value you will get. I think I just find my favorite hair product.

Easy to use but not a good hold. My hair goes flat before the end of the day. Didn't like the way my hair looked.

Boyfriend loves this product in his straight, slippery hair. No residue or shine, good re-shapeable hold.Only complaint is the small bottle size. He goes through a bottle in about 6 weeks. Please put in a tin or larger bottle!

I love this hair wax! It's hard enough to hold your hairstyle for the day and soft enough that it doesn't feel sticky when you sweat. And one thing that I really like about this is that it's very easy to wash off, I have tried other brands too, but they're more difficult to wash off, probably got to wash a couple more times until you feel clean. Great product! Keep up the good work!
