Very happy with this dispenser
I had a Brio bottom load that was very loud. I bought this for the touch and touch less features and am very happy with it. It's much quieter and the touch less works very well......in fact don't stand in front of it or it may start pouring water. When water runs out it will run a minute or 2 before it shuts off and lets you know it needs to be changed. The former Brio ran for a good 5 minutes. It looks very sleek and even though the water doesn't pour out real fast, it's not bad at all. If power goes out it will of course not work unlike other units with a hard physical push button. The water will have an odd taste when you first get because it's new. I found running the ozone cleaning feature helps as does running an entire 5 gl bottle through it. Taste improved after a couple days.I saw one review mention biofilm. If you use clean filtered water this should not be an issue at all. If you don't then of course you're going to see poor quality water. Don't use tap water in your bottles.Another good thing about the dispenser is the metal probe unlike other units that use plastic.

Unacceptably poor quality
The media could not be loaded. It looks nice, but that's about where the niceties end.Twice in the last few months, the dispenser has just randomly started pouring water out onto the floor from inside the bottle cabinet. This is apparently such a problem that they have an FAQ on how to fix it yourself. It's not a manufacturing defect - it's a design flaw. The reservoir lid just lightly snaps in place and spontaneously comes off, which doesn't let the pump know that it's full, so the pump just runs continuously. If I wasn't home both times it happened, our dining room would have been flooded with 5 gallons of water. The first time it happened, it stopped on its own. I contacted support and they wouldn't even talk to me without a video of it happening.Aside from the catastrophic failure listed above, the bottle door doesn't stay shut and doesn't seem to have any mechanism to hold it shut, so when the pump starts running, it rattles the door open and stops filling the reservoir. No water means no cold or hot water even after you shut the door. Doesn't happen all the time, but it shouldn't happen ever on a dispenser at this price. It also doesn't get all the water out of the bottle. It leaves about a quart in the bottom and there's no way to make the 'straw' any longer, just shorter. The tube that pulls the water out rattles against the side or back of the dispenser. There doesn't seem to be any way to put the bottle in that doesn't cause the dispenser to be noisy when the pump or compressor is running. The clock is a nice feature, but it runs fast... I know, nitpick, but we've been doing digital watches for decades. At this price point, there's no excuse. Get it right or leave it off.The temperature targets are essentially useless. If you set the hot to the top (191F, I think), you'll get somewhere within 20 degrees of that. On the bottom end, you can set it to 39F and it'll dispense between 40 and 45 degrees. Maybe that's close enough, but if you're not going to be accurate, why let us set it?And it dispenses painfully slowly.

Brio stands behind their products
My dispenser arrived right on time and worked great for about a year and a half. Over the last month or so, I noticed that the water pump sounded like it was getting weaker and weaker, wherein every time I dispensed a glass of water, several extra ounces of water would come out after and dribble into the drip tray, and it sounded like the water pump was working overtime to fill the internal tank. Eventually, the dispenser quit working altogether. I called Brio Customer Support and they graciously offered to ship me a brand-new replacement at no cost and cover shipping of the broken unit back to their facility. The replacement works even better than the original with absolutely no drips whatsoever. Thanks, Brio for standing behind your products.

Attractive and works well
All appliances are stainless in the kitchen so this fits in nicely. Also, who wants to lift those 5 gallon jugs, slopping some water somewhere, to get them on top of the older models? Only issue I have had is then auto fill has stopped working a couple times. Need to unplug, wait a couple minutes and replug to reactivate.

Great!
I have a bad back and live alone so lifting water jugs was getting really hard. I live in a place where the water is completely undrinkable (and at times salinated š¤¢) so even my pets drink bottled water. Bottled water is a necessity not necessarily a luxury.Iām glad I got this, itās super easy to use and itās pretty fancy. Iām partial to room temp water so Iām glad thatās one of the options. I didnāt realize the ātouch lessā part was only for cold water, however. Slightly annoying. Also, the hands free dispensing requires you to angle your hand in the right way over the sensor and hold it there until itās done fillingā¦kinda like a buttonā¦Itās funny though bc if I just pass my hand in front of it by accident, it will start dispensing because of course it does. šItās sleek looking and unobtrusive. I love the night light feature, too. Be aware that if you use a liter bottle (mine are Bkr) you have to angle the bottle under the spout bc it wonāt fit under. Not a big deal, though, bc it still fills it fine.Overall, worth the money. Itās a nice machine and it does what itās supposed to. I will update in a few months once Iāve had it for longer.
