This was exactly what it says it is. It’s sturdy, easy to assemble, and while light enough to move, it’s not so light it’ll tip over on you. I admit it’s been years since I’ve danced and I actually got this to use as a quilt rack for 30lbs weighted blankets, but I couldn’t help myself and used it as intended, first. Absolutely would recommend it for both intended and weighted blanket rack purposes.

I bought this barre for my 9-year-old daughter's ballet Zoom class. We like the white and wood-looking color. My daughter and I assembled it within 8 mins. Every class my daughter moves and sets up herself cause it's not heave. The lower thin stick prevented her leg from kicking forward higher, so I took it off. After that, it's not as stable as before, but still can be use normally. Overall, it's a quite satisfactory barre.

I was very excited for this ballet barre, but after 6 weeks the white paint on the standing bars began to chip. It at first seemed mild and I thought it wasn't a big deal, but it has progressed severely and I can't make it through a single class without pieces falling off onto the floor constantly. Nothing seems to trigger it or make it better, and it is aesthetically unappealing, irritating/distracting, and dangerous for my little pup. And worse, after just 6 weeks it became extremely wobbly. My hand that is on it during barre work is often less stable than my free hand. I have tried to take it apart and reassemble, but nothing seems to help and it continues to become looser and looser, and the parallel bars keep retracting from their standing support. I hate to leave such a harsh review because the barre system was at first beautiful and easy to assemble but has turned out to be way too expensive for something that almost instantly began falling apart. I can't seem to find a way to get in touch with the distributer, but I deserve a refund at the very least. Mine may be the rarely faulty example, but my specific barre from ElevFit is extremely dangerous and not at all what it is marketed as.

I’ve been so sad because since about March/April my barre studio hasn’t been open due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but had virtual classes. However, taking part in those classes has always required the use of my chair/table/counter which never really worked very well. I’m so happy to have finally found an affordable high quality ballet barre so I can enjoy working out effectively again.

I got this for my daughter who is 10 but it can be used for adult also. It is adjustable for height. The bars are not real wood, they are painted metal to look like wood. It is nice and does the job! I assembled it myself with no help.

Better quality than expected. Very sturdy, but light enough to move. This is the best barre for the price, or really any price, I have seen. For a home exercise area you cannot do better.I am an older woman and I could assemble this myself. Love my ElvaFit barre

The appearance is appealing but the sturdiness is not so great. Also if you try to adjust the height, make sure to do it slowly, because the paint on the poles gets scratched off easily.

Great barre but a little pricey. Overall it’s a great purchase and I’m happy. It’s of good construction and well thought out. My coach has it and she’s legit as they come so I buy what she recs and I’m never disappointed!
