I collect cacti and succulents and often propagate them. As a result, I have a lot of plants in pots under 4" in diameter. In the past I have used the squeeze bottles sold in beauty supply stores. I liked the fact that they delivered a slow, gentle stream perfect for watering small seedlings but found they had several drawbacks. One, the cap often was not a good seal and leaked. Second, the jar had to be upside down in order to work and often squirted prematurely while being inverted. Third, the largest size held about 250 ml, so it had to be refilled very often. When I saw this set while browsing one day, I thought that they were worth a try. At that price, I wasn't risking much, and if they worked, they would be well worth it.When they arrived, I gave them a try and was highly pleased. They gave the gentle stream I preferred, and the bent tip let me insert it under the leaves of my Echeverias and Aloes. With other watering devices, much of the water would fall on the leaves and be diverted away from the pot to fall on the table or floor. With Echeverias and several succulents much of the color effect is caused by a waxy bloom on the leaves that can easily be rubbed or washed off. With these bottles, all of the water could fall directly on to the soil, leaving the leaves untouched They would also be excellent for watering African violets (whose leaves can be harmed if water touches them). I found them particularly good for watering pots 4" or under, but they are almost as good with six" pots as well. One of the important things about watering cacti and succulents is that the soil has to be dried out between waterings. dry soil tends to repel water and shrink away from the sides of the pot, so you have to water slowly in order to give the water time to soak into the soil. Otherwise the water tends to run across the top of the pot, down the sides and out the drainage holes, leaving the root ball totally dry. These bottles give the slow, gentle watering that works best for succulents. I liked them so much that I ordered a spare pair for myself and another one for a friend who I share plants with. This is an excellent addition to my indoor gardening tool kit.

I bought these so that I could be more precise when watering my vivarium plants. I am super happy with my purchase. These make my daily routine 10x easier & a very fair price for what you receive. These are made well & do not feel flimsy at all. I highly recommend these to people who have lots of small plants to water! They work excellent for succulents as well.

These are really great and convenient for watering plants that need precision watering. Such Lithops, or conophytums. My only recommendation is to be sure to wash them out before you use. When I received mine they had a strong smell of plastic and a very thin oily residue on the inside and outside. I assume it was from the manufacturing process. Once I washed mine the smell and residue was gone.

I love this squeeze bottle for watering my seedlings. I have better control of amount of water I’m using so my seedlings have a higher success rate of germinating . I tend to over water at times, so this watering bottle works great for me!

This is the best thing to use to water my small plants I put on the top of my refrigerator, it’s clean and easy to use with no spilling.

Great squeeze bottle to water plants in those hard to reach places. A little tough to squeeze if you want to add more than a splash of water to something and you have to hold it for a long while. But otherwise great quality! Sturdy and does the trick I think I'm just weak hahah

Good quality and does not go mouldy

Delivery was fast and the flower watering bottles are clean and look good. It makes watering plants and flowers in needed spots so neat and easy, just add water to the bottles and you’re good to go! There are plants that can’t have their leaves watered otherwise they’ll shrivel and die. You need to water such plants with a bottle with a small straw or nozzle, and the Mkono watering bottles are great for that.
