Take a look at the the new QM-21! The QM-21, is a more traditional "spider mount design" and it creates isolation from mic stands and vibrations that can create noise on recordings. Nice for the price
I bought this item for an MXL 440 large diaphragm mic, and it fits very well. I had read some negative reviews on the shock mount that MXL recommended for this model, which was their own for approximately the same price. In comparison to those reviews, this shockmount seems well-built, the bands sturdy (although I didn't receive any spare bands to go with it) and it holds the mic nice and snug. Have not noticed any issues with the threaded mount, or the tightening lever, but have only just put it on the mic stand, so if anything changes, I will come back later and update the review. 4 stars for now, until I have determined how well the mic is insulated from floor noise and mic stand jarring.Thank you, Q-Mic!

Excellent shock mount
I got a pair of these to fit a pair of AT-4033a and they work great. I was afraid they might have plastic threads, but they have a brass insert - and that's great too! The flat rubber bands hold the mics very well, I just hope they last for a long time as it may be difficult to replace.

Effective
This shock mount does a good job with my MXL LC mic. A minor issue is that the bands come off easily when inserting the microphone, but it's not a big deal. If the areas where the bands connect to the mount were t-shaped, they'd stay on better. Nonetheless, for the price, I'm very happy.

Worked fantastic. Very nice design
Had to add a few extra rubber bands to hold an AKG C1000S Microphone.That fact that I had that option and that it worked was fantastic.It was just about the only shock mount option that I had for a 1 inch mic.I would, and have, recommend this product to others.

Works well
Good solid construction even though it is mostly plastic. I use mine with AT2005usb mike. I did criss-cross the bands supporting themike to center it better. Little more difficult to remove but holds it better.
