I do not know why there are negative reviews on this thermometer - it does the job it was made to do - it is very inexpensive but works great - highly recommend if you are in the market for a meat thermometer (very useful to have)

This thermometer works so well for anything you want to make. I tested it with my other one and they both match. It works for making candles, candy, cookies, cakes, any type of candy, etc. It’s light weight, easy to read, and accurate. The price was very good if this lasts like I believe it will.

Very slow to register temperature. I have purchased similar ones that register immediately in this one takes quite a while which is not very helpful. I would not purchase again
