I bought this kit particularly for one 10mm rusted bolt that became rounded off that was on my truck when I was changing the headlamps. I used the next smaller size which is a 3/8 and the bolt came off effortlessly. Literally without even trying. Minimal if not no wear on the tool socket itself. And separated from the bolt by hand. Great set for these jobs. Not sure how hardcore or heavy duty of a job it can handle but it seems like it can do most jobs for DIY guys.

This set was a life-saver!! I was replacing the transmission mount on my 2005 F150 with the 4R70E transmission and just couldn't get the transmission mount bolt on the driver side to budge. I started by heating the bolt head then using a breaker bar, but the darn thing didn't budge. Instead all of the various sockets I tried on the bolt kept slipping and eventually I tried a very powerful impact wrench and this just smoothed the edges of the head of the bolt, so much so that normal sockets were no longer gripping. I was stuck for days and days. I ordered this set and used the 13mm socket, heated the opposite end of the bolt and tapped this socket on with a hammer, inserted the breaker bar and with some force it finally moved and I was able to take it completely out with a low level impact wrench after that. The other side i.e. the passenger side bolt was difficult as well but no where nearly as difficult as the driver side and so this kit, really literally saved me loads of stress, time and money. I highly, highly, highly recommend you getting it. It was even more impressive that it worked great the very first attempt. Having to push and use it in an upwards direction from under the vehicle and looking up, and not having a more favourable horizontal or downward position, makes it even more impressive. I absolutely love this kit!! Added to all that in my opinion the build quality is very good - none of the sockets looked or felt flimsy when I inspected them and the proof's in the pudding....it works extremely well!!

Helped remove rounded bolts. Always keep these on hand - just in case.

I fave 5 stars for cost, delivery time and the product saved my a#$! Severely rusted mounting bracket bolts on my trailer hitch .I had to pound these extractor on a couple of them because the bolts were so bad, but the extractor held up well and got the job done

Valvoline tech stripped my oil pan drain bolt after a previous tech over-tightened it. Bit into the bolt and with the help of a Breaker bar, managed to slowly get it off and replaced.

I was deeply skeptical about this set. I've been fighting a stuck oil pan bolt for a very long time. I'd used vise grip wrenches and put a lot of force on the bolt with ZERO success. If these were more expensive I would literally have bought a new oil pan. I was shocked, with the 1st attempt using a breaker bar and these sockets the bolt was free in seconds. I still don't believe it, but yup I definitely recommend.

I bought this for a bolt that was totally stripped these easy outs sockets work amazing they grip the bolt and gets the bolt out perfectly easy to use worth your money cause there good quality.

This worked beautifully. I had two rounded bolts that had loctite on the. This kit made easy work of both of them.
