These are the cutest little tags and perfect for all sorts of uses. I've used them on Christmas and birthday gifts and to hang as labels off my laundry room and bedroom closet baskets as labels. They're a great value.

I read over all the reviews. How could the package I received be so 'wrong'?The bad: I purchased 100 tags that included 9" strings.I received a box with 80 (4 pks of 20 each), not 100 tags.The strings were described as 9" in length, the box I received were cut precisely in 7.5" lengths.Once doubled & affixed to the tag, the strings are exceedingly short & I know they will not work on most things I'll need to attach them to (such as baskets). The example shown in the listing are tied around an old timey milk bottle - NaDa with the ties I received.The box clearly states "100 pcs Kraft Paper Gift Tags", so I was not sent a different listing.One reviewer's photo post clearly shows 5 bundles of tags & what appers to be longer ties.The good: the tags are sturdy & have a nice appearance. Although I have not yet written on them, I'm hoping the paper 'accepts' a normal roller pen (some plastic topped labels require a permanent marker as a gel or roller pen will smear). They don't seem to be waxed, though, so they should work.Ordinarily I would return something that was so blatantly not as described - but I just spent 20 minutes attaching ties to one of the packs of tags. It was only after realizing the ties were so short that I reread the description since I found myself wondering why I had bought these. And then, I counted the tags & saw they came up short as well. The items were not what I had ordered.I'm not going to remove the ties & repackage everything to return. They were inexpensive & it's not worth the effort to return.

Nice gift tags or labeling tags. Not thicker cardstock quality, but good enough for intended use

So sorry about my previous post - I thought I had only received 20 of the 100 tags advertised. But actually, I did receive all 100. They come in a box with five packs of twenty that are individually wrapped. It had been so long since I had ordered them, and removed just one pack, that I forgot about the box! I just found it while clearing off the mountain of s*** on my counter - YAY! Just goes to show it really does pay to clear the clutter! Anylways, I do love the tags - great quality for a great price!
