…sweet taste. I thought I would try a less sweet alternative to sugar and decided to try dextrose for the buttercream on my latest Pina Colada cupcake batch. Very nice texture. Melts in your mouth with no overbearing sugar-bomb effect. (Though I did use it in a 50/50Ratio: 50% powdered sugar and 50% dextrose). Will definitely buy it again next time.

This is the only sugar that works for my digestion. I’m so grateful that it exists. It’s much less sweet so you’ll need to add more dectrose to get the same sweetness as with cane sugar. It’s gluten free also.
