I've been using this product for about 18months maybe almost 2 years. I put it in the bottom of my coffee mug with a teaspoon to teaspoon and a half sugar, then add hot black coffee. It dissolves almost before i stir and then completely once i stir the normal 10-12 revolutions.It has zero after taste to me as well. I've had others that had the fishy smell and taste. I've had one small jar of this that seemed a little more gritty, but I figure things happen its not always gonna be the same everything forever and it wasn't to the point it ruined my dosing everyday.. I'm a morning coffee drinker so this product has been rocking my world for a long time and the benefits are obvious. My joints, specifically knees and hips, don't hurt, or crackle pop anymore. My hair stopped falling out in swift fashion (no i don't have thyroid disease). I'm using the product as i can and am benefiting. they kind of tell people cold liquids are causing trouble and everyone knows if you pour a packet of hot chocolate on the top of your milk or water it clumps up.Concerning the amount in the jar...yeah I'm guessing this stuff has ultimate settling. I do know that the price is still worth the amount and the large is double the amount of the small. So i don't get wrapped up in the size of the jar. I'd assume they'd save money on that if they could.Bottom line. Perhaps move on if you like this in cold stuff and are going to complain about settling. Think of a bag of chips...its same thing its always half full people.Lastly, this is not an overnight magic cure if you don't put the time in then you wont notice any change. It took me like 6 months to realize ...is this working? Damn right it is i never complain about knee or hip pain and I can crouch, squat, bend and contort them more than i could ever remember. Ive not given it up since and i still can tell its benefitting me. My nail and skin did not change though. We're all different though. I was in it for the better joints and hope these guys stay in business so i don't have to go back to trying the other brands with their fishy tastes and smells.Thanks Horbach

This is a mid grade collagen powder. It is perfect in my morning coffee. It has added amino acids. It fully dissolves. Is easy to measure and serves its purpose. The powder is not thick, very fine and has barely any smell to it.

The item arrived as described with no issues. All safety seals were intact and had an expiration date of 3/27.The collagen is a fine powder that dissolves well in liquids even hot ones. It has no taste or smell that I would consider different or abnormal from what was expected. Note there is a fill line on the size of the container and the one I got was about a 1/4 inches below the fill range…even after I shook the container to unpack the powder. One scoop per serving and there are 91 servings according to the label.Qualitatively, I had no adverse reactions to consuming. I mixed it in a variety of foods and drinks. My favorite was with my morning hot chocolate or overnight oats. I like that it’s low calorie with minimal fillers. Note if you have allergies this is a friendly product to many of them.Ingredients listed are all beneficial in some way to my overall health goals. The core ingredients are all in adequate amounts in my opinion.Overall, the combination of different collagen and the amounts of each are sufficient. It is affordable quality product that I would recommend to others.

I add this to my OJ every morning. I did not get a scoop in my container,( yes,I checked with a wire wisk ) Anyway,I add 2 tbsp DIRECTLY into cold OJ and stir. It mixes easily as long as you don't drop it all in a once and let it sit there, it will coagulate if you don't stir it in to hot or cold liquid. It has a taste,but not unpleasant. Kind of tastes like an unsalted cracker. It helps with hair growth and is wonderful for joint health.

Good value, horbaach is really trustworthy in my experience, and the collagen protein blends really well in my yogurts/smoothies.Taking collagen in general has helped with my knee pain.

I mix collagen in my coffee every morning. I had bought a different brand of collagen that was grainy & left a sandy type sludge in the bottom of my cup. Because I'm cheap & didn't want to throw it out, I continued using it until it was gone. Today I opened the Horbaach brand, Holy Cow!!! What an amazing difference. There was absolutely no taste or grit. I was so happy I even made myself another cup of coffee. I'll definitely buy this product again. It's nice to have a smooth cup of coffee again!

I bought this product because my preferred variety of collagen was out of stock. While this product is a significantly lower price, the quality is also lower. I don't make fresh coffee every day; I frequently pour a cup of yesterday's pot and reheat it in the microwave. With my preferred brand, I would add a scoop of collagen to the hot coffee, and it immediately sank in and could be stirred to dissolve completely. The first time I used this brand, I did the same thing, and it just sat on the surface. I stirred and some dissolved, but mostly it created gummy clumps. With this brand I have to heat a cup of coffee and pour it into a second cup that contains this collagen at the bottom, then stir. Pouring from one cup to another is messy and awkward. As for cold beverages, don't even bother trying to use this product.The packaging is also unnecessarily large and wasteful.

This is my favorite collagen powder, have purchased it six times now. Adding it to coffee, which works great, as there can be a vaguely noticeable flavor if you add it to tea. The coffee totally conceals this flavor for me, and the powder adds a slightly creamy texture, which I like. No added sugar, easy to use, dissolves easily, and a better price than the powder I was purchasing previously.
