Perfect drying mat
I have been using trays and stuff like that, which invariably turned breeding centres for mosquitoes, overflow if you forget to clean the drained water etc... Ikea drying mat absorbs water and dries very quickly, it's washable and do not give any unpleasant smells. Excellent product. I'm ordering 2 more today.

Put a dish rack on top of these or use them when large items need to dry and there's no space on the stove top. These are fantastic. Be careful, if you wash them with nearly anything else, pilling/balls of stuff will stay on the drying mat never able to be removed, at least with my experience.

Good for putting damp dishes on so you don't mark a quartz work surface. Machine washable too which is very useful.
