well crafted
These are absolutely perfect, exactly what I've been looking for. The pieces are small, uniform size and shape, spread easily. They went further than I thought but I couldn't tell square footage because I spread them around big rocks.

Love the bark, hate the bag!
My plants love the soil I mix using your bark. Last 4x ordered the bag was not closed and it was half loose in the box. What a mess.

Exactly what I was looking for
Exactly was I was looking for. One 8qt bag was more than enough for my indoor plants. Buying a second one for my balcony plants.

Part of my fungus gnat eradication plan
Used this as my 5 step sure fire gnat eradication method. 1- wait until top soil is dry or dryish move plant to bathroom or closed off room then dig out 1-2 “ of top soil on infested plant and toss out ! 2- soak the plant with 1.5-3% hydrogen peroxide 3- wait 1 hour keeping plant isolated in closed room and then replace 1” of soil with a DRY potting mix 4- put at least 1” of these wood chips over that dry soil 5- put yellow sticky traps AND buy a small mosquito-flying insect electric catcher which has a fan and a blue light to attract bugs put it right near the plant for 2 weeks and then when it’s time to water remove chips into a container remove 1” dry top soil into a container water with hydrogen peroxide again and replace dry top soil then chips. Then water without hydrogen peroxide from then on but remove chips and dry soil each time and replace with same after watering. Check the electronic bug catcher it should have a lot the first 2 weeks then less and less. After a month replace the stick trap in the bug catcher and you should see no or just a couple bugs per day. IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE INFECTED PLANTS then you’ll need to do the routine with each but it’s worth it after your problem is gone.

I Am Happy!
I don't use this product as mulch, but rather as a soil amendment for my house plants. It works perfectly! Adds aeration and drainage, is easy to mix into my potting soil, and is easy to repot my plants. No bugs, no problems, no issues. I would not have a problem in the world with purchasing this product again, and I recommend it to anyone looking to amend their potting mix for added drainage and aeration.

Clean & Beautiful
The prompt shipping & quality of the product was great! The only problem was that the zip bag of chips opened during the shipping and made a big clean-up mess for my carpet in the box for recycling.

Good But Overpriced
I love the small size and quality. But the price is prohibitive for the small amount you get.
