Do stretch over time
The cord does stretch over time and will have to either get new ones or go with something different. And for the wires there is no place to keep them from getting damaged

Did not last long
It came in unraveled, my door swung wide, and hit the side of my jeep. I tried to twist it to make it work but that didn't work. My door still swings wide. The driver side is still good.
