We use the fruit syrups in plain soda to create a beverage of the amount of sweetness that we want. We also make our own sorbet with frozen fruit and use these to enhance the flavor. Blood orange is pretty good but not our favorite. However, since we mix and match syrups, this one is quite acceptable. Pear is our favorite and ginger is pretty fine too. Monin makes a very good product in the sugar syrup category. You really can't go wrong with most of their products.

I ordered two bottles from this seller, Lavender and Blood Orange, and both arrived at the same time. The lavender bottle (made of glass) arrived packaged in two boxes and wrapped in bubble wrap. The blood orange (made of plastic) arrived floating around in a large box with those air pouches.I took pictures of the two bottles for comparison- the lavender looks fine and is what I would expect.The orange arrived wet and sticky, with syrup staining and discoloring the label so much that I wondered how old the product is. The syrup has separated inside the bottle, too. If I swirl the syrup around dark flecks stick to the neck. This looks like an old, disgusting bottle left behind and I don't trust it to be usable... but the lavender looks fine at least!

Got the Blood Orange flavor to soften some of the bite on our Aperol Spritz, this does the trick!

Bought this so I could make my wife blood orange margaritas, and taste great. It does have a lot of sugar but for a quick easy margarita this item is perfect.
