My son bought this 12-piece raw anthracite coal as a prank to put in his dad’s stocking, and it was a total hit! The pieces look authentic and were perfect for the joke. Just a heads-up—it can be a little messy if handled too much, but it added to the fun. A unique and hilarious gift idea for the holidays. Five stars!

Disappointed in the size. The pieces are way smaller than 3"×3"×3"

This item came in a small plastic bag with the 6 small pieces enclosed. I didn't read the description like I should have when it said 1" pieces. I expected more for the money. I needed some for my son's W. VA class project and wanted to have some in a basket as a mining prop. I ended up returning this item and found another listing for $5 more and about 8x as much. Shipping was fast, though, and if you need about a palm sized amount this would be fine for you.

This was perfect as a little “surprise” in the Christmas stocking! The pieces weren’t too big or small and after I washed them off in warm water were perfect and shiny!!
