La Sportiva Xplorer Approach Shoe - Women's

Fit was perfect but i didn't factor in the fact that i had to wear socks with the shoes (my mistake!) so it's a teeny bit snug. But so far, comfortable to walk around in and very grippy. I'll be using it for a hike in Thailand next week, so hopefully it lives up to its wonderful reviews thus far!

Great purchase for me. Reading the reviews helped me order the correct shoe size the first time. I did order a larger size shoe and that worked out just right for me. I am enjoying wearing these shoes.

Great approach shoes. Sticky rubber. Support, and comfort

So, I fall down a lot. When I'm hiking on rocks, dirt, mud, ice-mud, I can be counted on to fall down. These shoes have waaaay more traction than normal approach or hiking shoes, I don't think that I have fallen down since I got them. As a seasonal climbing guide, I spent many months walking on slabs and through tallus, and I have walked through many approach shoes over the years. This particular shoe is much burlier than others, and has been very slow to show any wear or tear. I'm impressed. If you're like me in that you are clutzy, yet insist on spending all of your time walking around in nature carrying heavy loads, this shoe is a savior.
