I have been ordering Ritche bands for several years now. The quality has been good. This padded one looks nice and will take a couple of days to break in. On thicker bands like this I generally like to bend the leather back and forth several times to put some wrinkles in it to speed up the softening process. Shown on a Galaxy Watch 8 Classic with the lugs that come with the Samsung Hybrid Band. YES, it's compatible with 22mm, quick release staps.

I try to write a product review only if I think it might help someone else avoid a lousy product or experience, or - as with this purchase - if it might help someone else get a superlative product and experience.It sort of goes without saying that products are expected to be shipped quickly and on time. Amazon (and other retailers) have rightly realized this basic expectation by consumers. So, yes, this Ritche watch band arrived quickly and as promised.But I AM MORE THAN DELIGHTED WITH THIS PRODUCT! It SCREAMS "QUALITY"! It looks great, feels terrific on my wrist, and was incredibly easy to install on my beloved Tag Heuer watch! Thank you, RITCHE for all you do to provide quality products and services. I had bought a new watch but wanted to replace its all stainless steel watch band to differentiate the new watch from the other watches I own. I wanted the new band to be black leather because the new watch has a stainless steel case, light colored watch face and dark colored chronograph dials. Black leather would give the watch a classy\dressy look while also maintaining a sense of sportiness. As one could imagine, there are a lot of leather watch bands available on Amazon and most of them are from brands I had never heard of. I was relying on product pictures and descriptions and hoping the vendors were also honest as well. Fortunately, most all of the watch bands were priced under $20 so if I made a poor choice, I want going to lose a bunch of money. The product pages for Ritche watch bands kept standing out over other brands though. Even though some of their bands were not the proper style or color, I kept getting the impression that they made quality products that were reasonably priced. I finally decided to purchase a black leather band made by Ritche . I am very happy with my purchase. The band is made out of quality leather and has a decent amount of thickness to it. The band itself screams class and brings a sense of dressy occasion I was looking for. Ritche watch bands are the real deal. A quality product at a reasonable price.

Nice fit and finish. Redesigned lugs make it super easy to install. Slightly longer than the original Citizen part. I highly recommend this band.

The strap arrives in a bag where each end of the strap has a separate compartment. This is a pretty neat feature that keeps the pieces from rubbing against each other or the buckle from damaging the tail end.When talking leather, you need to understand that not all leather is created equal. There are essentially three grades of leather: Full Grain, Top Grain, and Genuine Leather.Full Grain is the top of the line. Only the hair is removed from the animal and it goes into tanning. It ages wonderfully and stands the rigors of time. All that does, however come at a premium and Full Grain is usually the most expensive kind of leather.Top Grain is next best. Here, the top layer of the animal hide is shaved off before heading in for tanning.Genuine Leather is the most affordable kind of real animal leather and is usually considered to be of the lowest quality. This is made from the middle layer of the animal skin and is sometimes also referred to as split leather.At about roughly $20, this padded strap from Ritchie is genuine leather. Having said that, I still think it offers a good deal for the money.Pros:The band is pretty pliable right out of the bag and immediately gave me the sensation that little to no break in time will be needed. The texture is smooth and pleasant to the touch and the stitching is pretty much flawless. The padding adds dimension to the strap and I've found myself pinching it when not wearing the strap because it has just the right amount of softness to it. Not too soft, not too rigid. Just right. I had this Tissot in mind when I ordered it, and the stitching picks up the blue accents on the watch rather nicely. The buckle doesn't match, but that was my mistake. They do offer a dlc version.Cons:The only real negative is that the added mass of the padding comes with the caveat of the buckle sticking a bit. I have a 7.5 inch wrist and had to go to the exact middle of the road with the holes, landing on the fifth of nine, but it took a bit of work to get the buckle there. This only happens when wearing it due to the normal pressure your wrist experts against the strap. When sliding the buckle up and down while not wearing it, it gave me no such trouble.
