I bought these to give a more presentable home to my collection of vinyl LPs. These shelves are rock solid and look great. I'm very pleased. All the parts were there, and the illustrated instructions for assembly were very good. I was glad I'd put together items like this before; it might not be the best project to learn on. It took me about five hours to do, but it is possible to do it by yourself. The result was a definite upgrade to my living room. You don't need to worry about the quality.

Unpacked everything but did not notice the damage until I was ready to assemble. One shelf was split.I contacted the manufacturer but was told they did not have the replacement part in stock. Told me to contact Amazon who intern wanted me to return the entire product which is 87 lbs. I opted to keep it and try to work with it as the piece would not be available for 10 weeks. this was a nightmare to put together and really no bargain at the total cost of over $400 but I could not find an assembled piece of furniture to accommodate a large vinyl collection. If I had it to do over again, I would never have purchased this product.

The shelf is good.The problem is the price reduced about $120 after I ordered it, and there is no where I could get a price match.I ordered at $450, with in a week it reduced to $330.
