There's a learning curve on how much wax to pour in the form, but otherwise - works great.

Got to use with Layen’s frames
I got this to make my own foundation for Layen’s frames. Worked great and can make thicker foundation.The issue for this application is that it takes two for a Layen’s frames. I bought a 5lb block of wax and after I was done I found that for me it was cheaper to just buy the foundation from another source given the cost of the wax, not knowing where the wax is coming from or how old it is and the time it takes to process the wax. If you have your own wax then that might not be a deterrent to you.
