I just received this sound machine. I spent about 6 hours looking at and comparing sound machines before I settled on this particular model. It has a good number of sounds for the money I spent. It also had a $4.00 off coupon at the time I purchased it. But there were no agreements about positive reviews in exchange for the coupon. I'm not getting any type of remuneration for this review or the purchase of the product. I have no connections whatsoever with the manufacturer or the seller of this product, or any employee of either. The only connection I have is my purchase of the product with my own money, and with a clearly marked $4.00 coupon on the item page. I will not receive a refund for a review either.I haven't used it for sleeping yet, so I'll have to come back and update in a month or so after I've used it for awhile but honestly when I listen to it, it's loud enough to drown out the garbage truck, and the thump thump of bass music playing in cars going by, as well as other household noises.This machine is made of a lightweight plastic but does not feel delicate or flimsy. The one I bought is white with dark grey markings on the buttons. It has an orange light in the bottom of the unit which I don't need, but if you need a nightlight it is a nice feature. I turned it off right away.Using a regular old fashioned wooden ruler the top and bottom measure right about 4 inches, and it stands almost 2 inches tall. It has 4 little rubberized type pads about 1/3 inch wide on the bottom. They should be able to prevent most slipping and sliding but if you need a firmer non slip some velcro ought to work or one of those non skid things made to put under carpet corners. There any number of ways to prevent slipping. Like I said it's rubbery enough that it should prevent most slippage.The only drawback I can see is it takes one of those round plug ins. So you can't use just any USB power cord. This has a USB cord but has that pin type end that plugs into the side of the machine.It's not a deal breaker, but you can't just pull out one of those USB cords, to replace it, that I'm sure everyone has in their junk drawer. LOL. A power brick is included which is very nice because you won't have to juggle charging your phone, tablet , laptop and etcetera with using the sound machine all night. Cudos for an included power brick!So I got this little machine for $15.00 and change plus tax.I just opened the box, and removed the power brick and the power cord and plugged all of it up and in. The power button is clearly visible, and easy to press. The buttons are a good size and far enough apart that someone with big hands and fingers can press each button without pressing other buttons at the same time. Cudos to the person who designed this machine for the well thought out placement of the buttons. The buttons do NOT light up, so if you need buttons that light up go with a different machine. I don't require light up buttons so they're fine for me.Honestly even kids could operate this sound machine without instructions. I figured it out in a couple of minutes, without looking at the instructions, but I had them nearby just in case.The buttons are arranged in a semicircle around the top of the machine just above the speaker which is in the center of the top. It's a nice sized speaker. Each button is clearly marked with the operation it is for. I ran through all the sounds for which there are forward and backwards buttons, so you can go through the sounds from either direction. I need reading glasses and I could see these marking fine without reading glasses. Each button is a little over 3/4 an inch, and the speaker grill is approximately 2 inches wide and circular in shape, and it sits directly in the center on the top. There are 5 indicator lights that reflect the timer if you choose to use that function and they are a very bright white color when in use.The timer function can be set easily by turning the machine on a pressing the button with a clock face, and can be set for 1,2,3 or 4 hours, or infinite play with no time limit.The volume up and down buttons are clearly marked, and to go either up and down in volume doesn't take a lot of clicks. There is a comfortable increase of sound for each click. Cudos for that also. I've bought items before that take many many clicks to get to a good volume. This is a quality machine for a super price. I use white noise to sleep like so many others. Rain is my preferred sound. I was using an old cell phone to play rain sounds through YouTube. Two problems though..since the phone is WiFi connected if there was a blip in service, the sound would stop...also the need to keep the old phone charged was not ideal. I grabbed this, and while it has more sounds than I need, the ones I use are great. Good volume level. Easy to operate. Nice night light . The plug end is versatile with a USB and outlet plug. It's portable and easily packed for travel too. Only issue I have is cycling thru the sounds and needing the instructions to find the sound "name" I want. A list with name sounds and led number on the units face somewhere would be easier, but that would probably increase cost. Overall, very pleased with my purchase of this sound machine and I would highly recommend it

I bought this because the Fridamom air purifier sound machine combo was not working well. The sounds were muddled together. I wanted the clear sound of rain falling. The variety of sounds that this product offers is truly amazing. My son uses it to sleep every night. It is great that it has volume control and additional color options. However, I more use the rain sound. It is portable for sure, but I wish it didn’t have to be plugged in to work. I think it does its Job well and lights up the room okay. It is not a nightlight primarily.I’ve used it every day multiple times a day for 3 months and it still works great

THE BEST WHITE NOISE MACHINE EVER. LOOK NO FURTHER. I have been a mom for 7 years and over time I have become addicted to white noise when I go to sleep. I have tried quite a few white noise machines out there but this one is BY FAR the best for several reasons.1. Variety of sounds - so many different types of fans, some higher, some lower, some softer, etc. I have quite a few I like in each category (fan, beach, rain, lullaby, etc). The meditation one is great for yoga, or just relaxing background music. The fans are great for sleep.2. Compact and cute design - no nonsense, small, compact, yet very cute and has everything you need without being extra. Easy to use.3. Lights!! - love that it even comes with the light and you can adjust the brightness.4. Price - for everything considered, I’m surprised this sound machine is so affordable. I bought 3 of these to replace the ones I have at home.Look no further!! This is it!! Thanks for making such great white noise machines at a reasonable price.

I’ve been using this little gem for about a month. I researched a new machine for about 6 weeks before deciding to try this model. I love the many choices of sounds. It’s small as described and I can turn the light off. It has a setting for continuous sound which is my desire for night time sleep. I haven’t had any issues with the buttons or cord. I’m very happy with this purchase.

This is perfect. The noise is similar to a deep red noise ( which I find more relaxing) and so it’s perfect for our son as we’re moving him from our room to his own after we’ve been playing this deep red noise since he was born it’s a perfect match for us. Definitely different than the white noise I found on our Alexa. Very loud too if needed
